What about private statistics ? I would appreciate to know my % of missed shots and my % of headshots in the next ME, to see if I improve over time. Keeping the detailed stats private (along with some basic public stats) could perhaps avoid certain antisocial behaviors.

Agreed. I would like to see my own statistics for every match on my own screen.

Bullets shot vs hits

Enemies killed

Assists

Power kills

Power combo kills

Multi kills

etc...

That way the competitive nature in people wont be aroused as much and might actually cause many to better themselves according to their own statistics and not others. People might begin to set personal goals which is a pretty healthy thing IMO. People naturally get curious as to how they performed after each match so showing each individual their own stats isnt a bad idea IMO

Missiles can highly skew a lot of games... but he game IS capable of tracking damage done by missiles.  It would be easy enough to completely separate missile damage from the total score, and give it its own separate stat.

I.e. damage done by powers, damage done by weapons, damage done by melee, damage done by missiles.

It would be cool if enemies killed by missiles removed tickets from the spawn budget, but didn't actually impact a players overall score count.

I haven't failed a Gold mission in months. Seriously. I can't even remember the last time failed.  Probably the reason why is my rules are: I never play a Game In Progress..no matter what and I choose what lobby's I will play with.  I used to get fooled all the time by really good looking ..chose to put a stop to that.... I do play Silver too to get rid of the more horrible weapon / character challenge points done.

Don't we have that already in some part with the challenge points as most of these relate to an individual rather than as a team.

I think if you put any more up that it will encourage people to do less. Better for Bioware to put effort into fixing what is broken for the new game than introducing things that aren't really relevant.

Its supposed to be a co-op game but the way medals etc are awarded actually seems biased towards individuals. It feels more like PvP at times anyway.

I agree though TheTechnoTurian that it would be helpful to have your own private stats recorded, then again this is Bioware we are talking about and they don't seem able to handle what exists currently so maybe not...
