A new Dragon Age series from Dark Horse has been announced: Dragon Age: Magekiller. The series is written by Greg Rucka and will start on November 1.

 

It stars Marius, a former slave turned Boba Fett-esque "Magekiller" bounty hunter and his handler Tessa Forsythia, a Neverran noblewoman who is estranged from her family.

 

The series will start in Minrathous, capital of Tevinter, shortly before the start of DAI. The series's first arc takes place parallel to DAI, but after the series goes into new ground.

Sounds like a cool premise. I wasn't sure what to think when I clicked the thread... I thought it was a Combat Guide. 

If I had intended to make a combat guide, I would have placed this topic in the appropriate section. Sorry if the title was misleading.

Sounds like the author of the comic has a good understanding of the subject in question.

I've read some of Rucka's work on Batman, and it's really solid. He's good at the clandestine scheming and cat-and-mouse plot lines, so this could end up being pretty interesting.

Brilliant news! Rucka is one of my favourite comic writers, so I'm excited to see what he'll do with Dragon Age.

Based on the title alone I expect it to be garbage. I'll get the sequel where chantry members are be butchered in the most violent way possible.
