Actually the problem people have with ME:A is that a lot of the established lore is going to be thrown away to the point that Bioware might as well start a new IP instead.
"Lore" is not something that is thrown away. It is easy for it to become irrelevant though especially when moving from one storyline to the next. Shepard's storyline is not what ME:A is going to be about. That does not mean all of the lore from the previous games will become irrelevant though.
But nevertheless i'll stick to what you said. It is therefore an assumption that established lore "is going to be thrown away." There is no fact that anyone here can quote which can prove what you have posted either way.
So it sounds like people are expecting ME:A to hold to 100% of the lore from the previous storyline while taking place in a new galaxy, with a new PC, new crew, new enemies and maybe even new races. Am i right in saying that? or am i wrong? Are they to produce a brand new game, without fast-tracking any sort of unique lore/stories that will cement the game's depth and background?
These things qualifies as expectations so please see my previous post. thanks.
