a human/AI/robot hybrid is my idea of a perfect life form, so any game that lets me do that is awesome in my book

 

Yeah, nothing says perfection like making humans able to be crippled by a DDOS attack, Hacked by other humans to become living puppets, and needing a software patch to know not to **** your pants.

you know, imo ME3's Synthesis ending and Human Revolution's Sarif endings are the best i've seen

Human Revolution endings are also terrible. Similarly to Mass Effect 3 or Dragon Age: Inquisition, this otherwise really good game completely falls apart during the last hour.

Assassin's Creed IV's was excellent.

I didn't think The Witcher 3 has a god-awful ending, tho'

If it counts, Zone of the Enders HD collection. It came out in 2012 I believe or somewhere around there and it was a remaster of two PS2 games. 

 

Both ZOEs had you face off against Orbital Frame Anubis at the end, with the first one you couldn't beat it while the second runner had you fight him twice, with Zero shift and such. It was a fun fight and sure as hell wasn't easy. The boss fights were well done. It also had a great story. 

 

Saints Row IV was well done. I enjoyed it from start to finish.

Every selectable squad member completes their tasks no matter what, and survival hinges on resolving numerous personal issues (playing Space Therapist, the bulk of ME2's story) just so they can do their job properly enough not to screw themselves.  Then you've got that organic-inorganic "essence" stuff and the copypasta from Contra 3, before the heavy-handed Collector Base decision.

Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon.

I mean the boss fight was a cutscene and all, but who cares, I got to commit genocide on the back of an auto-tuned dinosaur that shoots lasers out if its eyes.

Well I suppose but the games had great endings regardless. I thought they deserved a mention here since the HD collection was made.

 

Also... Borderlands 2... I liked the ending. Always nice to have a good old boss battle.
