And you're lucky to have ice cream to eat, my city has no ice cream left to buy. The supermarket freezers all have long empty spaces in them.

As I'm sure many of you are aware, large parts of the population of the Northern Hemisphere are living in the grip of a heat wave. So, I was wondering what would be the mission setup that would make one feel coolest while playing.

 

Yay heatwave. I even managed to geth a tan today! 

If you are tired of the hot weather, I recommend chilling by the waterfall on Hydra or throwing a beach party on Dagger.

Wow, all the Cryo Ammo love. Never thought ice see the day. And I'm all but out of Ice Cream Ammo (only 2 left).

 

PS - do cryo ammo and cryo blast stack? Naridia says I lose armour dmg if I add Cryo Ammo 2.

In keeping with the weather theme, how about a bonus heat/warm up challenge for those of us stuck in the southern hemisphere? Just a suggestion.

Well done and preliminary congratulations to those of you who have already had a go!  

 

For myself, I found some great guys online earlier this evening, and so we were able to do this with a full squad on Xbox.

The scores are slightly weird because Drake lost connection in the first game and took a couple waves to get back, and in the second game it happened to both Randall and Brannigan.

 

The games were fun and filled with very loud Cryo Explosions, and the only stressful moments were caused by Banshees who were clearly annoyed by the cold and prepared to teleport through walls and instagrab us. One did it to me on wave 9 of the second game, and while spectating Randall I saw the same thing happen to him

 

Excuse the quick camera photos, I may have been slightly intoxicated and relied on the camera to manage issues like focus and perspective

No, you're absoluely right.  It's bad enough with only one hand free when I'm playing an Asari or FQuarian.  Throw in an iceceam and it's just impossible.

Finished this with Jugger, Deckard & Comfy. Would've had it sooner except Jugger went banshee chasing on wave 11 and f'ed up our full extraction so we had to do it again. 

 

Plus I had to wait til my kids went to bed so I could do it neked.
