Today I slept from 8:47am til 9:40pm. Right as I was waking up, I heard a loud crash and bag so I jumped up and was like wtf is that. After venturing around the house I realized that it was just a firework..
I was suppose to go to the beach, grill out and watch the fireworks shoot out across the water, but I ended up staying up waayyy too late for that.
I don't mind though, sleep is glorious. Most I've slept in a while.
Also, my dog is freaking out.

Yeah yeah, happy B-day America. But what I don't like is that we aren't honest with how this nation was truly forged into the empire it is today, through the genocide of the American Indian and manifest destiny, slavery of blacks and migrant workers. And of course the utter annihilation thousands of Japanese civilians through the most destructive device man kind has ever created.
I wish we'd at least be honest about it.
