I have a quick question: if a creature is flagged as disarmable but their weapon is not flagged as droppable, does the weapon vanish if the creature is disarmed?

also notice this function (but who knows what the description really means)
// Is this creature able to be disarmed? (checks disarm flag on creature, and if // the creature actually has a weapon equipped in their right hand that is droppable) int GetIsCreatureDisarmable(object oCreature);

it might go into their inventory... isn't that default behavior w/ Disarm ? (pretty sure i had to write a custom Disarm() function to get the weapon to land on the ground...)
Does it? That makes it seem almost pointless.

i could be wrong but iirc they changed it from how it was in NwN1. I just seem to remember fighting some monster with Disarm in the back of the Shadow Theatre, MotB, and dealing with my backpack ....
needs test (or someone who plays the game to comment) tho ![]()

As I understand it,the default behaviour is to place the disarmed weapon on the ground, but there's some kind of bug when this happens, making the weapon often spawn beneath the ground where you can't get it (unless you activate the companion's automatic item pickup behaviour), so Kaedrin's pack changes it to place the item in your inventory.

Okay, I found this wiki page which appears to answer my question. (I didn't understand that the disarm moves it to the attacker's inventory; that makes a little more sense.)
I wonder, does Kaedrin's pack use the modules' item unacquired script to check for a disarmed weapon?

I can't remember for sure, but I think so. I added it to my own campaign for those who don't use Kaedrin's, because I have enemies who disarm you.

the item is copied back into owner's inventory and the original is destroyed. That could have changed; i see commented code that includes ActionPickUpItem() ...
re MotB, now I remember. I was fiddling around in my own inventory for another weapon, and glad to find my primary weapon in the devil's inventory later.
