Alright, I'll hand it to the clone, but overall I think this still establishes that ME3 pretty much has the monopoly on the best boss battles.
the Kai Leng fight was annoying, it was only good with the final interrupt

If I had to pick the most annoying boss battle in the entire trilogy, I'd have to choose the human reaper. That jerkass macabre-bot kept swinging from side to side. I hated that thing.

I dont know, Corrupted Saren was pretty ****** poor in terms of design

It's funny how Sovereign augmented him, and the best it could come up with when it assumed direct control was basically a suped up hopper. Another little thing that bugged me about Saren was that stupid thing he flew around with. What the hell was that thing anyway, and what was the point of it? He was like some kind of marauder green goblin on that thing.

the mechanics of the fight weren't as bad as the Reaper embryo, but the dialogue

That's kind of strange, because Oriana has no lines in ME2, and only a couple in ME3 that I can barely remember, especially if Miranda is alive to dominate the last scene at Sanctuary, and once she's no longer a hostage she's never seen again. Engineer Adams, however, is there to talk with his annoying voice in both ME1 and ME3.
"Shepard! Oriana this, Oriana that, Oriana here, Oriana there, my evil father, my genes, Oriana's genes, Oriana is as smart as I am, Oriana's family, Oriana Oriana!!"
Ugh. ![]()

You ran on Thessia, you ran on the Citadel.
In a child tone: SHUT UP!
"Shepard! Oriana this, Oriana that, Oriana here, Oriana there, my evil father, my genes, Oriana's genes, Oriana is as smart as I am, Oriana's family, Oriana Oriana!!"
Ugh.
That actually makes Miranda annoying, since she talks about Oriana more than Oriana talks at all.
Lena Headey is just too fabulous. She distracts people from the character's terrible decision making.
when one of the actually smart guys has to go"wow didn't think she'd screw up THAT fast" you know you are dealing with a political mastermind

Yeah, but the only reason she's still alive is because she's surrounded by sycophants, and there's no Judge to show her the meaning of the word defenestration.

Tali is freaking awful.
Nihilus was an idiot and brought his death upon himself.
I liked ME3's ending.

Wishing death on a loving mother whom has endured a lot of hardship and abuse is pretty low dude. Despite what a lot of Cersei's moutbreathing haters like to think, she's very sympathetic and a good person deep down.
If Tommen bites it, I guess she gets demoted to loving sister, or perhaps just sister, all things considered.
Speaking about unpopular opinions, I thought Wrex was the worst squadmate ME1 while Kaiden & Ashley were the best, Tali and Garrus were somewhere in the middle and I am totally indifferent on Liara.
I also believe that the real problem with ME3 is the Crucible rather than the Catalyist and that the endings were merely are sympthon rather than a cause.

Nihlus: I work better alone.
BOOM! HEADSHOT
Saren: Get gud, n00b.

A device that suddenly shows up at the last stretch of the trilogy that nobody knows how it works or what it does? What could possibly be go wrong?
Thing is, the crucible itself is merely a symptom of ME2 being a giant waste of time that wrecked continuity beyond repair and ended with the reapers at the galactic gates without the galaxy being prepared and no means of stopping them, more so if one choose the moronic paragon choice to destroy the collector base.
Watching the fan reactions to the ME3 ending was comical to those of us(like me) whom were aware of ME2's flaws and read the leaked script and here's something for them,

Miranda in heeled combat boots
Hammerhead rounds
Thermal clips
Starkid
Tali's sweat
I liked ME3's ending.
I liked it after the EC.
The ME3 ending was still nonsensical but at least it was satisfying to see my Renegade Shepard submitting the galaxy to martial law under the reapers as the new galactic popo with Shepard in charge.
Renegade Control is the only ending other than Destroy that makes any sense to me. You don't just command a fleet of killships to be nice to everyone.
Also, I LOVE this piece of (official) concept art of "Reaper Shepard" and Ashley. Why didn't BioWare use any of this good stuff in the final game?
Probably because ME1 and ME2 let you end the games by turning down the ability to use the Reaper's technology to win, so having Shepard suddenly turn to Reaper tech in 3 would have gone against their character. If it was optional then the two paths would have been considerably different from each other and Bioware didn't have the time or resources to create two vastly different paths for Shepard to go down. My Shepard didn't blow up the Collector base just to turn to Reaper tech a few months later.
Everything else they had planned for ME3 was pretty mindblowing though, and it is indeed a shame they didn't go through with it. The Citadel take over mission is such a blatant example of "aborted arc". Did anyone not think having Bailey show up when they expected Cerberus to NOT lead into anything drastic?
Well, your Shepard is a moron then and should have lost the war.
Besides, Shepard already has a ton of reaper tech inside his body (or at least it's hinted at that Cerberus used reaper tech to rebuild Shepard). Him turning to the dark-side (or perhaps being FORCED to the dark-side given the situation) would have been epic and perfectly in-character for Shep.
