Posting it here 'cause I don't think BSN Help section get much views, so better to clear this up and then move it. (Asking a favor for the mods, of course, lol)

So, anyways, my question is this one in the title. So, how many we get before being perma-banned?

IIRC, it was the Third, but is is the Third Warning point then Ban or the Third Warning point is already a perma-ban?

And what happened to day's suspension? Or you need to get suspended first then zero Warning points then 3 more and you're Perma?

Again, I know this isn't the right section and I'm sorry, but I want to get this cleared up soon, since I already have 2 Warning points, so...

Thx in advance :)

Edit: So, I got curious now... How many do you have?

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get those 2 warning points in the first place? As to your question however, I have no idea, but I'm sure there are posters here who know the answer to your question.

well right now im sitting at 3 warning points but 2 of those came from SJW mod #6 who from the looks of it got canned. Dont take the warning system so seriously, and remember you can always challenge them for giving you bull.

Two warning points. Once for calling someone a tool for acting like one at that particular moment, and the other was for violating the language filter which is funny since the language filter doesn't even work.

One warning point (the first and only in my life here) for having expressed my moral and religious belief on this forum.

1- I started a Husk Romance Thread in Mass Effect Andromeda Forums and BioMod01 said I was Spamming the forums.

2- I made a joke here in the off-topic saying that I created a thread for Bunz(The Bunz), and said that it was to avoid BioMod Attention. But of course, it wasn't (honest about it), it was only a joke. Then, BioMod01 deleted the thread and said that I admitted that other member used me to avoid Moderation and I agreed.

(Please, BioMod01, if you're reading this, Bunz had nothing to do with it. It was simple a joke and if he gets a warning point 'cause of this, I say you give that 3 Warning Points and that Perma-Ban for me and I'm off for good from this forums)

Seriously, I didn't even started to think that that was an issue (Because a Mod could put up his filter and see if he's been spamming the forums or not). But I don't think I can get that warning point removed since I had to acknowledge the warning to allow me to post here.

There is no direct relationship between warning points and bans. Warning Points involve a report. Mods assessing a situation can look over a poster's warning points to read the reports.

While a mod may take the warning points into account when deciding whether to ban, the decision to ban is independent of them. You can get permabanned with zero warning points, or have several warning points without ever having a ban.

sorry thought the question was how many warning points you have

each warning point represents a mod report

the reason for the report can be seen by any staff member so when a mod warns you again they can decide what (if any) additional action to take based on previous reports

this has probably already been indicated by others but since I only read the thread title the first time......

Heh,  some mods will just give you a warning point because they feel like it, and they will give you a rather poor reason for doing so.

I have 9, mostly misogynistic comments with "offensive" satire humor. However, I hold back a lot and also disappear for 1-6 months. Depends how busy I am.

But I think it doesn't matter too much about how many warning points you have, just how often you get them in a certain time span. Just a guess though.

Nine. Warning points by themselves don't mean anything tbh. They're just a way to bar you from posting until you actually 'acknowledge' what you did 'wrong' in hopes that you follow their rules in the future.

I'm curious... if a mod does a pointless necro... can they receive a warning point for necro'ing?

Modbot 3 told me that if I get another warning point then I will be permabanned.

They should. One of the mods came to a thread that hadn't been posted in for like two weeks just to lock it.
