I can't feel shame for one of my posts having a lower parental rating than the games this company makes lol.
Acknowledging that warning was the hardest thing I've ever done on this site.
Why isn't there a "screw you" button?

not a single warning point on my resume
You best watch yourselves, I'm a dangerous man. I have permaban warnings in 12 sub-forums.

What's the deal with the extra 3 under your warning point counter?
I think it means I have a registered ME3 copy, instead of registered that I have p-
Wait it's not on the forums.
Huh, I suppose it only shows up in Private Messages, it's a link to my N7 HQ account too.

It's a fake. A copy-paste thingy.

I have 4. 2 for spam/necro which is legit I guess but the other two were stupid. Profanity filter failed to block something and I'm the one that did something bad. Also my 2 recent ones happened at the same time from 2 different mods. I logged in one morning and not even one minute later I got two warnings. What killed me was one of those warnings came from a post that was almost 2 weeks old already. Figure after something has been there for that long already it probably just be best to ignore it but whatever. Mods man.
As is typical of these threads, some people feel their points make them edgy. Others feel shame. I feel shame.
I gave up caring long ago, too many bans to count and one perma from before the age of the botmods after ending up on the mods **** list for being "edgy" they were going to ban me regardless of what I did, short of mutely nodding my head, so I decided to have fun while they did it.
ie: posting things which rubbed the special snowflakes up the wrong way and telling the mods their criteria for adjudicating disputes were daft, biased and arbitrary.

Shame!
Shame!
Shame!
I should have guessed. At any rate, here are all of my warnings.
That.... I don't know if legit or photo shop.
No you didn't. They didn't have warning points.
Then maybe I got suspended for something. Whatever it was it was stupid and unjustified.
My low count of 5 shows me that I need to work harder to at least get into double digits.

How did you get a warning for that? Do you have a link to the offending post?Acknowledging my first Warning that was essentially a complaint about the complete lack of transparency of any gameplay mechanics for DA:I was one of the hardest things I've had to do here as well. It kept me away for months, ultimately right before DA:I's release before I could bring myself to let go.
Had one from saying that, in the months prior to Dragon Age Inquisition, we knew more about whether Iron Bull likes to stick his P in a V or not (exact words used) than we did about actual gameplay mechanics, like the tactical camera.
I got another one the other day when a ModBot gave me a Warning for starting a gay marriage thread. Except I didn't start a gay marriage thread. So I appealed it and Conal replied back, giving me a negative warning point (which erases the erroneous second one).
Other than that, I've been banned, but most of that was pre-Warning Points in the days of The Woo.
God, Jimmy, don't you know you can't just say letters on the internet!
Seriously though, that's outrageous, and also very valid criticism.
I have no warning points. I try to stay out of trouble, but I'm sure I've broken several forum rules. I assume it'll catch up to me eventually though.
It seems like a fairly arbitrary system.

Unfortunately, no.
It was from THIS thread and was right around this post (a little upthread, you can see where Allan says he deleted some posts - that was my post and then people quoting me and agreeing with my statement).
From my memory, my post was, almost to the word, "we need to quit being told about conceptual game design and actually start being SHOWN it, because we have been given no specifics... except we know that Iron Bull likes the P and the V and that's what's important."
The "P and V" section I know is word for word, because it is in my actual Warning notice as a quote, saying it crosses the line of being acceptable.
Haha. Why'll I agree with those sentiments, hasn't posts along those lines always been ban worthy here. (ie. P and V being what's important.)

Staying Off Topic helps. Going into heavily modded areas, like Story or MP forums, seems to be the most likely way to catch flak.

Its not profanity. If I had said "except we know Iron Bull is bisexual and that's what is important" it would have been more explicit than saying "likes the P and the V," in my eyes at least.
Anyway... seemed very incredulous to me at the time. Then when DA:I came out and people began saying the systems weren't what they expected, I really let it go. Didn't seem like worth fighting about.
