Its not profanity. If I had said "except we know Iron Bull is bisexual and that's what is important" it would have been more explicit than saying "likes the P and the V," in my eyes at least. 

 

Anyway... seemed very incredulous to me at the time. Then when DA:I came out and people began saying the systems weren't what they expected, I really let it go. Didn't seem like worth fighting about.

 

Not that. Its that you can't talk **** about the romance obsession here (at least in my experience), which is what your post kinda was doing. I agree with the sentiments tho, its sad the amount of people that care more about the sexual orientation of the companions than they do about gameplay mechanics.

I think after the Miranda thread fiasco the mods became quite strict when there was conflict around love interests. Also the monthly "Is everyone going to be BI in the next BioWare game?" thread after DA:2's release didn't help.

 

I dunno people get their feathers too easily ruffled on these forums sometimes.

I can't remember what I got the first one for, but I got the second for saying motherf***ers, with those exact letters blocked out by asterisks. I just don't believe in obscuring an entire expletive behind asterisks. It's practically against my religion.

The funny thing is that it's essentially the same as saying motherfrakers. Replace anything with a bleep and it's suddenly cursing. Case in point:

Reminds me of ancient times with AOL. An account of mine was once suddenly terminated because I had the word "mofo" in the name, which the entirely unhelpful Indian lady on the phone explained to me flatly that it meant "mother****er". I had to laugh at the ridiculous irony of what I was hearing.
