Spoilers for both products.

In the new Terminator movie, Skynet is presented as a little blue, holographic projection of a little kid. And John Conner, who's now the bad guy, is a merge between synthetic and organic, which he considers the future (Saren? Synthesis?).

Might've borrowed some ideas?

By that definition almost every sci-fi movie borrowed liberally from the classic sci-fi novels. ^^

So your saying every sci-fi novel has a little blue holographic boy trying to kill humanity with killer machines? Because I don't remember one from the novel versions of 2001 or Jurassic Park.

Here's a thread someone created about the movie in the off-topic section

Yep. I started a thread about this in off-topic, but it's not going anywhere because ... well there are folks that would rather talk about how they think the movie is bad than discuss the similarities between skynet ai child and ME ai child.

The forums never change!
