I noticed that this game is capable of turning harmless keyboard spectres (real-life pacifists) into raging beasts.

 

Most frequent symptom would be rage-quitting by the end of wave 9 as host

(which I never did and am really proud of that).

 

However, my list of casualties contains a computer rodent  and almost my monitor.

 

 

Indirectly I blame the Collectors and the Geth staggering mechanism,

in combination with me sticking to every wall in the map while trying to get away as fast and far as possible.

 

 

I believe that this game is special in terms of combining love and hate. 

 

Would you agree - or is this game just like every other ?

I wouldn't call playing mass effect multiplayer a "career"  .. Nothing broken. Alot of worn down controllers such as depressed buttons from over use.

Broke a table-lamp once while soloing Geth/Hydra. 

Spilled tea on my music player out of frustration during a Cerberus PuG.

Broke my headphones out of rage when I was trying to sub-20 platinum.

Threw a hard-bound 600 page textbook at my modem when I lost internet connection mid-solo. The modem has a dent on its top and the book's binding is messed up a bit.

 

I still love the game though - I wouldn't be still playing it otherwise. It's just that I am very short-tempered. The things I like about this game outweigh the things I hate, and by a huge margin.

Nothing, because I value the stuff that I buy. I did tear a t-shirt once, but that was already in a pretty bad condition, and I had other bad stuff going on at the time.

I broke a controller once, after a massive series of troll objectives in a solo. But it was already malfunctioning, so I just finished it actually. Those game pads are pretty expensive, so I try to not rage too much.

My A button currently feels like I am pressing nothing.  No click anymore.  I am not someone who whips his **** into walls when he gets mad though.  Oh, but how I have wanted to.  If I didn't have the bit of self control that I do have, I would be 3 flatscreens deep by now, with no end in sight.

I've broken two mice using charging weapons while aiming. Specifically, it were acolyte and, I think, venom. It seems that holding LMB while pressing RMB is not something I am happy to do for extended periods of time. Also, spilled half a cup of water on kb after being synced by banshee during a hack. I had the launcher out and reached for the mouse to missile while holding the cup. Needless to say, my new kb is spill proof.
