It's not the newest piece of news (from March of this year), but yeah, this is a thing.

No, it's not an article from the Onion, either. A real woman, in real New York, has made her real home into a real pre-school for real adults, with real nap time, real dress up time, and real fingerpainting. She insists that it's a legitimate thing and not just some adult-baby fetish operation (which would make it LESS weird if it were, I think).

So this woman is either insane/retarded or a genius, because she's charging upwards of $330 USD (up to $1000) per "student", and she's got 6 students so far. She's making at least a good $2000 off of her con scheme pre-school so far. This is what it looks like:

Really, if it weren't for the arts and crafts materials strewn about everywhere, I would just as easily mistaken this for a group of your average, everyday hipsters.

I can only admire those who discover such inventive ways to part fools from their money.

OMFG

She's insane and retarded and a genius. There I said it.

She will make a killing.  Dumb adults will pay to go there.

I don't know if this is just Tumblr or "Hipster".

I consider a lot of "millennial" types as Infantile. They want everyone to hug and watch My Little Pony. Or something.

Why do New Yorkers think they're so special? I don't mean to pin point you, but people from New York are generally...ass holes. Just my experience. They think they're special and precious and the world revolves around them.

I wonder if anyone would bring a bottle of Jack or a "toy" for Show and Tell. Ya know to really make it adult pre-school, rather than whatever freak show that is.

Looks like a tranny.

Don't use problematic language.

And I was reminded of this when I first saw the story:

http://mobile.nytime...cary-ideas.html

The safe space, Ms. Byron explained, was intended to give people who might find comments “troubling” or “triggering,” a place to recuperate. The room was equipped with cookies, coloring books, bubbles, Play-Doh, calming music, pillows, blankets and a video of frolicking puppies, as well as students and staff members trained to deal with trauma. Emma Hall, a junior, rape survivor and “sexual assault peer educator” who helped set up the room and worked in it during the debate, estimates that a couple of dozen people used it. At one point she went to the lecture hall — it was packed — but after a while, she had to return to the safe space. “I was feeling bombarded by a lot of viewpoints that really go against my dearly and closely held beliefs,” Ms. Hall said.

Lol.

A tranny could be problematic and expensive to fix.
