2) After a while, it got more interesting to observe myself and others behavior under stress (in a cosy chair)...

There's stress in ME3:MP?

You'd have a field day watching me playing Doom3 or Metro in a darkened room with headphones on in the wee small hours of the morning then!

ME3:MP is like the teddy bear of computer games - give it a quick hug (a.k.a blow up some Rippaz) to remove stress.

...Doom3 or Metro...

I discovered my healthy boundary with  "F.E.A.R. " 1+2. Would you rate these beyond? (We're nudging off-topic now)

Doom 3 might just be beyond FEAR, in that sense. My 2 cents, at least. That game was awesome!

Considering my other half nearly killed me playing Doom 3 ...

Sat in a darkened room with headphones on at some ungodly hour in the morning playing Doom 3, the last thing you need is your missus to come tap you on the shoulder to ask if you're coming to bed!

I swear I have never jumped so much in my life - my hands were shaking for about a half hour afterwards. So... as far as I'm concerned, Doom 3 is the now scariest game ever. O_o

People have weak egos so they feel the need to prove themselves online where it matters doesn't matter.

The "survival" part of survival/horror puts me off... it generally implies not enough bullets! ;)

So nope...

Maybe it's just me but I'd rather run a cheese grater over my scrotum than debate psychology on BSN.

After 16 hours of total gameplay I finally got past the bridge troll thing in the Undead Burg in Dark Souls. I have had this game for 2 years and have gotten nowhere until 4 hours ago. I loaded up on firebombs (20) and made him chase me up onto the tower where we had an epic dance. I have never been so happy. then I found a red dragon..this is going to end well.  On Topic-- I still have no idea what OP is talking about even though I can even "read" and stuff.

Why not have the best of both worlds?  Turn your keyboard into a cheese grater and type with your juggle sack.

You're welcome, friend.

OP, whenever I play lately, I dream of a Batarian's head on my mother's body, and it is continuously falcon punching a large snake, wrapped around its forearm, into a giant, damp, yet warm, cave that has a blinding light deep within it.  As I watch, I start to feel sweat profusely pouring out of my entire body, and I find myself breathing so heavily, I almost pass out.  At the very moment I pass out, a volcano in the distance erupts, enveloping the land around it in a hot, thick, steaming, gooey lava wave, and then I wake up.

What does this mean, and what would you get me for Christmas if I was your nephew?

If you're looking to progress faster, but you still want to get something out of it, deal with the Dragon thusly:

Sure, why not do a Dark Souls write-up in Mass Effect forums? I'm a rebel.  :police:

F.E.A.R. is an action game and it certaily wasn't scary. Doom 3 is laughable, the cheap "in your face or behind you" scare tactics become easily predictable and they no longer faze you. Amnesia is actually the opposite of Doom, because it's acmore psycholigical fear, but it also becomes predictable, because there are very long streches were nothing happens (nothing attacks you)

^^^^  Dead Space 1-2  2:00am all lights out and have head phones on  ..that's kinda freaky.

Also, Alien: Isolation  starts out pretty scary, but the xenomorph just becomes annoying later on

I don't WASD but if I did you can be assured it would be with my ballsack.

Are there any ergonomically friendly options for sack play PC friends?
