On PS3, since DLing the patch I've gotten two freezes within 20 minutes now.

They could do everyone a favour and just patch out Multiplayer completly

I only see the new nightmare difficulty.   I don't see any new maps or characters.  I think, though, that they may need to "flip the switch" to release those as they did with Ferelden and the dragons.  

 

Unsurprisingly, nightmare is hard (at least for me) but I was doing just this side of ok/bad when I got plowed by a druffalo in Zone 3.  Poor AW that was doing the heavy lifting until that point (I was on Keeper) couldn't hold on after that -- too much stuff.

hm, there was a patch AND a DLC iirc... but it doesn't matter really ^^ new stuff is NEW STUFF!!!!

Bear in mind, folks, that you may not see ALL new content in the patch alone.

 

I'd assume a separate DLC dropping tomorrow (my dream would be a SP and MP both) that you will need to download and install before seeing all new content. This was how it was when DragonSlayer dropped - you saw some of the things, but not everything. People blew wads of their accumulated gold on patch day, but it was DLC day when items and armors became available.

 

I advise the same caution. Save your money until we know what's actually going on... tomorrow.

Unfortunately, these patches seem to release early in the day/night, before BioWare folks actually get into the office. I get the feeling their blog posts are updated manually, not preset to post at a set time. Edmonton is currently at 5:20 am right now, so expect no news until a few hours when they can actually get into the office.

Took me like 1 min to download that patch and it was full of dissapointment... Fixes that really should have happened at launch.
