So, was Virtuoso armor buff proportionally buffed? Or can I no longer scrub my way into higher difficulties by armoring up jihadist Avaars?
Apparently, someone in the last gen thread had the sound for the entire game get messed up from this patch. Having the PS3 version... I'm nervous about updating.
I'm playing on PS3, patched, and everything sounds normal.
This was actually me, i wasn't on multiplayer though, i went to the black emporium and bam, no sound, just the antiquarians voice, but other than that non a squeek, the antequarian didn't load right, and then when i wnet back to skyhold or traveled to anywhere, the sound was gone, i didn't have this issue before this patch though, also every time i get into the menu and hit the go to title screen (or what ever it's called) option, it simply crashes, and reboots my ps3, same if i use the ps button to quit. Any help or any more of you having these issues? or is it just a ps3 problem?andy6915, on 06 Jul 2015 - 11:40 AM, said:

Nightmare/Proving Grounds gold and new loot tables should be live now. If someone can confirm that would be super ![]()
Anyone confirm yet that the new weapons have been switched on? Gotta love how we're told we just have to wait for someone to risk the gold because ya just never know what might get missed...
ah hell with it i'd drop what little gold I have (100k, bleh) to confirm, still waiting for pc patch though.
ETA: update available now at 1pm EDT
Nextarishok just posted about Skywatcher Greatsword so looks like new loot is activeNightmare/Proving Grounds gold and new loot tables should be live now. If someone can confirm that would be super
So... Do any of these apply to single player?
I highly doubt it. Although i figure some of the items are from hakkon dlc.

Aaannd, there it is. I was running around in SP and wasn't having any issues until after I went to Black Emporium. It was like a mute button hit when I traveled out. I haven't had any unusual crash problems (I'm back in the game), but I had a freeze in SP and MP today -- anyone who plays on PS3 knows those happen occasionally though, so I'm not sure if that's related. After restarting, I went between Skyhold, Hinterlands, Val Royeaux, and back to Skyhold. The sound remained normal. Then I went back to Black Emporium, and back to Skyhold, and boom, sound is out again. Not just sound, the npcs don't respond at all, or have a very delayed lag in response (this is just for the dialogue wheel appearing, the sound doesn't resume.) So yeah, I'm just gonna avoid Black Emporium for the time being, and maybe keep a back-up save from before the patch, just in case.
edit: And I had another freeze trying to load another file from the sound bugged session...so I guess that's related. Still able to restart the game tho. So far it seems normal as long as I don't try visiting Black Emporium. (Too many cursed items in there, I guess.

Exactly the same issue i'm having, i've put arround 20 hours this weekend, and before patch i never had a problem with sound, or with the black emporium, or with exiting the game with out my ps3 crashing, that's why i'm attributing this to the patch.
Escalating the issue. As a work around for now I suggest whenever you exit black emporium you save the game and reload it.

Un fortunately this does not work, if you reload with out exiting the game, the sound will still be broken, or at least that has been my case, the only way i've found to get it back is to restart and avoid the black emporium for the moment.

It works, but yeah, you need to exit the game and restart.
does any one know if bioware is planing to fix the black emporium sound bug that came with this patch for ps3?
I suppose we will hear something soon at least we know they are aware of itEscalating the issue. As a work around for now I suggest whenever you exit black emporium you save the game and reload it.
