Er, pardon me if I am wrong, but wasn't Cull the Herd always +100% damage, with a tooltip error stating it was +50% instead?
50% is what I thought it was always at. I don't think I ever saw a balance change for it.

So, it's not really a buff, but a tooltip fix ![]()
Unless you decided to continue the proud tradition of Bioware tooltips and it does something silly like +200% damage now!

Restarted game (= exit client and restart), created new lobby, looted a freeby chest and a gold pot. Both gave absolutely nothing. Will attempt repair

Thanks for checking for me. My guess is the loot tables weren't turned back on properly - I'll see if we can get this going pretty quick.
UPDATE: Turns out this should only be an issue for PC right now and we'll get it with the next server push. I'll let you know when that comes (sometime in the next hour or two)

I'm pretty sure Dragon Chests were never always available. They've just been made temporarily available during some special weekend events (or, in the case of the recent week-long summer event).
So, in between their special availability, you have to craft Dragon Calls.

Played with my reaver and spammed that dragon-rage button against the red remplars footsoldiers. Still seeing them block 4 to 5 times in a row without a sweat... regularly. What is the difference compared to their blocking ability pre-patch?

Yes, it is running smoothly now. The main thing is not to rush through it. Hints written and spoken are given at specific points in your progress around the zones, and if you go at high speed you may miss some of them. The only other thing to be aware of is that the level of difficulty is below Foundation, but it does give you a good idea of what to expect (possibly including the other characters who it times don't seem to know what to do? They must have seen me playing!)
