You should probably redownload the file, it might be corrupted. I haven't ordered from EAstore though, so I can't tell you if it's the right size.

I'm getting the same error. However I am installing from the discs. There don't appear to be any physical flaws on my disc.  Not really sure what to do at this point.

Not going to lie. This is one of the ****tiest releases I've ever witnessed for a single player game. . .

: ok what do you suggest [07:28:57 AM]

EARepRadley: Note:- Make sure that the internet connection remains stable during the downloading because disconnections leads to corrupt installers. Also, delete the temporary files. To delete the temporary files:-

- Click the Cross button(marked as 'red'), located in the left side of the game tab.

- Click on "OK" when prompted to delete the temporary files.

When you re-download the game ensure you have ended your background tasks (http://support.ea.co...p?p_faqid=10700) and all anti virus software and Firewalls are configured to allow EA Download Manager (http://support.ea.co...p?p_faqid=11084).

Before reinstalling, first ensure that there is no legacy of your earlier failed attempts to install the game. The manual uninstall instructions will ensure that the game has completely been removed. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, especially in regards to backing up your registry.

For manually uninstallation of the game "Mass Effect 2", please remove all the game related files from your system & also from the registry as well.

Next make sure there are no corrupt files that may be conflicting with your installation. Delete your temporary files from your computer before continuing (http://support.ea.co...p?p_faqid=10705).

Defragment and check your Hard Drive for errors, and clean up your hard drive (http://support.ea.co...p?p_faqid=10719), please note the XP instructions should work for Vista users as well.

Once this is done, install game by clicking the Install button in the EA Download Manager. [07:36:09 AM]

EARepRadley: I hope this should resolve the issue! [07:36:17 AM]

: i will try, i am dieing to play the cross button is that red x that says delete the cache? [07:34:11 AM]

EARepRadley: Yes. [07:38:35 AM]

EARepRadley: That will occur. [07:38:43 AM]

: "Once this is done, install game by clicking the Install button in the EA Download Manager." " [07:35:36 AM]
