Does anyone else make so many **** posts that they lose track of the **** posts that they've made?

 

I sometimes make a post that's sort of out there but I want to elaborate on it but then I forget where it even is.

Yep. Biggest regret of ME1.

Amen to both. I'm a reverse racist (technical term?) in the ME franchise as I found the human squad boring and useless compared to the others. Hell if there had been a way to sacrifice the humans to save Legion and Mordin I would hit that button so fast the game would ask me if I was insane.

Haha so true! It's funny how the first time around I was so sad I couldn't save both, then after just one full playthrough the second time I wished I could have dumped the other one from the airlock when I saw the explosion going off...

Or, just have electronics and barrier maxed, and run into their face with a shotgun while they hopelessly try to breach your shields with their super awezom snipers that now feel like the Super Soaker XXVI

Ya, there is not a single human squadmate I like. A couple are alright but the rest are disappointing.

Jokes aside, ME3 Kaidan is basically as close to "God Mode" as NPC allies get, so he's totally worth keeping alive. Especially since Canadian vs Space-racist.

How can he be "God Mode" when all teammates in 3 are completely useless, no exception whatsoever?

kaidan has some fine lines and jokes in ME1, ashley is a bit more interesting (physically) in ME3. Zaeed rocks, kasumi is ok. What s this hate ? Joker is well written too

 

Either of them is not very important for combat purpose, neither are the aliens

Joker's not a teammate. He's... Something else. Something more. He's the glue that keeps all things together

And I forgot Kasumi too, dammit! I guess another one that my mind refuses to categorize as human... Yeah, Kasumi and Zaeed are both interesting and useful teammates.

 

But Ashley, Kaidan, Miranda, Jacob, James... They're all pretty boring and useless, honestly. Well, I guess Miranda is useful in battle, but she's not so great to go around with.

Y'all are out of your minds. Miranda's great, both as a teammate in combat and as a character. Kaidan is kinda boring in the first game but redeems himself in ME3. Vega is actually a very cool character with some seriously funny dialogue at times. Zaeed and Kasumi have already been mentioned so I don't have to elaborate. The only ones I found somewhat disappointing are Jacob and Ash.

I kinda like james, mostly on citadel DLC. The other are annoying and boring most of the times i agree. But miranda's voice ...

I am being unfair to Vega though.  He is the best human team-mate in ME3.  Which is rather like being the least evil member of the Nazi Party, but still deserves some recognition.

 

And I still regret that I couldn't order both Ashley and Kaiden to die in ME1, though shooting the survivor in ME3 sorta made up for it.  A little bit.

Yeah I agree with everything here. Except that I don't shoot the survivor... I'm a tad too good for that. I recruit him and then never let him leave the Normandy. So I know he won't create other trouble.

Yeah, I should say that I haven't played Citadel, so there's that.

 

And yeah, Miranda's voice is awesome, but there should be something more than voice and ass to a teammate, to make it interesting.

 

And I'm still on the "**** Kaiden" boat, even after watching that vid.

I guess to be fair my bias comes from subjectively enjoying the dialogues with the xeno partners more consistently instead of the occasional barb from Kaiden or James. 

 

Also given Vega's backstory I have to ask why the hell was he not incorporated into ME2 at least as an expansion? Someone else who knew how to fight the collectors would have been cool and given us more opportunity to flesh James out without having to watch paragon lost. In ME 3 Vega just seems rushed in some spots and the fact he's our Krogan stand-in doesn't help the Wrex and Grunt fans.

I would have a hard time choosing between setting my face on fire and putting it out with a hatchet or  listening to hear utter the name Niket ever again.

I inadvertently locked myself into a romance with Kaidan in ME1, nuking him on virmire proved easier to do than simply breaking up with him
