This really is a bad move on bioware parts for getting rid of last gen support. If they wanted to do this they shouldnt have released it. This was the last game i wanted to play on my last gen console. Now time to get all my parts together for my $2000/$2500 pc build so i would like to thank bioware for releasing the game on all consoles so i could save up enough to get me a monster pc build.

If I played with the Collector's edition on the PS3, does this mean I have to purchase the Flames of the Inquisition gear for PS4, or would that import even with a vanilla copy of DAI for PS4?  Thanks! :)

You would be able to successfully import yes, if you had equipment already on hand (ie dragon armor) it would not be taken away from you, but things that were never looted or are not currently set would be inaccessible unless you bought the deluxe version on PS4

Thank you so much, Bryan!  That helped a lot...I got it to work and everything seems to be there :)  Thank you for the advice!

Sorry if this has been asked a bunch of times, but I'm having an issue with importing a save from PS3 to PS4. I get as far as importing the save, but then I get an error message saying it can't be imported because I don't have the Black Emporium DLC or Jaws of Hakkon DLC. Thing is... I do have both of those DLCs for both systems, and I can't figure out why the importer isn't finding them. Any ideas for how this can be resolved? Thanks!

ETA: I managed to fix this myself. For some reason opening the game through the notifications menu rather than the game menu worked.

So I own a ps3 and my sister owns a ps4. If I transfer my save game to her console I import whatever progress I make on her ps4 back to my ps3?

No, you can only import from PS3 to PS4, not from PS4 back to PS3.

Will ever be possible to trasfer Xbox360 saves to PC?

I finished Inquisition on 360 and now I own a PC copy and i'd like to play DLCs with that character...

Unfortunately, AFAIK, there's still no way to do this. I really wish they had figured this out though as wanting to migrate from Console to PC was not exactly an uncommon request...

Regardless of the ability to import saves across platforms, (currently impossible) you'd also have to buy all the DLC again before you could use those saves.
