You made us wait three moths for the exclusive Xbone DLC, and now this? A lot of us cant afford the £400 for a new console, so what you have done is both dirty and disgusting. If you had no intention of supporting the last gen titles fully then you should have said so at the beginning, instead you lied and deceived, just to make more money by ******ng on the fans who have supported you thus far. First DA2 was rushed badly, then you gave us a hot steaming pike of cr*p in the form of ME3's A, B, and C, colour coded endings, where our decisions meant nothing, and now this? Why the hell should we support you? Why should we continue to buy your products, when you turn around and do this to us? Screw you Bioware, screw you EA, screw the lot of you.

Damn man u really need a joint

As a PC player with a relatively high-end PC, my personal reaction is mostly just aww yisss. But objectively, this is kinda abrupt and unfair to last-gen players...

As a PC player I'm chuckling at the claim that you don't have to upgrade a console. :P

On the bright side, this can only mean Citadel like dlc(s)? I hope they explain why there doing this now. This seems the worst time to do it though. It's not like the dlc(s) are going to look any better or anything like that. Is there a graphical difference say between ps3/4?

They probably didn't even know it would come to this before launch

You're probably right. Which is why they should have never done this now. Either do it before launch, or never. It's no excuse.

Dunning-Kruger effect at its finest....

I don't know what that is, but I've had personal experiences with Mike not knowing what he's talking about. Or do you mean that my point of Inquisition having more characters loaded at once in other scenes is a bad point in favour of him being misinformed?

Add to that animation and dialogue options for all 9 companions. There's no single cutscene that big in entire Inquisition....

Did anyone ask about animation and dialogue for them? I was under the impression we were talking about simply having them be present at judgements, which is obviously, easily possible, as previously shown. As there are other cutscenes with a lot of characters and animation.

Yes, there is a graphical difference. But that isn't an issue when it comes to releasing DLC, because it will just be scaled down. The problem is more likely things the old hardware can't handle and can't scale down, like enormous areas with many characters, tons of things happening at once, that sort of thing.

But why would they do it before launch if they never thought this would happen

I wanted them to make the game next-gen only because I feeling something similar to this would happen

Either never make the game for the older consoles, or keep supporting it for the older consoles the entire support cycle, but not only half.

That's what Banshee means I believe.

Either never make the game for the older consoles, or keep supporting it for the older consoles the entire support cycle. But don't stop supporting it half way through.

That's what Banshee means I believe.

I know that's what Banshee meant but I mean if the reason is what I suspect then Bioware continuing to do it will pretty much break the game for the last gen consoles

I do agree that they never should make it for last-gen

If the reason is what you suspect, then Bioware chose to screw over their fans on older consoles rather than continue to develop DLC that can be on those consoles.

Because it would've been too much for the consoles to handle.

Or they could have made DLC that wouldn't be too much for them to handle. You know, the right choice.

So no DLC at all then? Because the core game itself was already too much and JOH actually made it worse

Last-gen has been pushed way pasted it limits

If that is the end result, yes. At least then all the fans are treated fairly.

Maybe DAI team has something to tell us about this exclusive dlc.
It would be fair with all fans an explanation at least.

And then we'd have people complain and bad-mouth Bioware about "playing favorites to the MP because they have more DLCs"

MP got two DLCs, which were mostly skin packs.

SP got three DLCs, one being about ten hours long if you play it to completion.

SP got more than MP.

Regardless, all fans were treated fairly. Unlike what Bioware is doing now.

I'm pretty sure the MP is still getting more DLCs (unless they said something?). And I don't consider the Spoil packs legit DLCs like JoH

So cutting DLC support period is not an option for them

Sure it is. They took that option with DA2. And at least that's fair to all their fans, rather than screwing some over.

Except that option came from EA because of sells, that isn't the case with DAI

Doesn't matter who it came from. It is still an option. A better option compared to this disgusting choice they made.

I know. I am saying about PC/XONE/PS4 dlcs.
It's sad, because players want to continue their story.
Maybe they can release all content for all and for PC/XONE/PS4 could have an free upgrade  dlc to improve performance in high quality platforms.
So nobody would lose content.
It's just an idea.
