how's the drop rate? slain more then 10 , none of us had any
50% for me. 3 weapons from 6 runs.

Drop rate sucks from my perspective. Perhaps because my luck always is in this pattern. I ran 12 dragons runs and got Hakkon's Valor a Greatsword. But another player did his first and got the Bow, so....50% for me. 3 weapons from 6 runs.

Crazy droprate Pork. You need to hit a Casino! ![]()
I thought it was 1/100 chance?
And yet some people already have 3/5. I bet they'll have the T4 accessory by friday lol
Alright I am done waiting.
Is the T4 accessory the Lifeward amulet?
a baker's dozen in zone 4 triangulated on you and they have 15K HP, half dozen Pride demons with 25K HP, or you can have the dozen shadows and mostly red lyrium horrors and knights crew from the red Templars instead. Half dozen one or the other.A wild conundrum appears!
I want these weapons.
But nightmare... how many despair demons are there in zone 3?

I suspect it will depend on your 'loot score' , 'item score' , whatever you want to call it. (DISCLAIMER: I could be wrong)
Spent 2 million gold = great drop rate
Spent 200k - good luck !
Then again Dragon Weapons were gauged around 10% drop so it 'might' be the same as that.
Just trying to judge from peoples experiences is hard at this early stage.
If Luke could confirm please ?
I don't know, I think it is smaller percentage RNG. I have spent more than 2m gold. we did 4 runs this morning, I got nothing as well as two of the others in the foursome. One play got both Valor and Honor (GS and longsword). One of the 4 probably 16 successful runs with nothing to show for it and I have 1 item out of 20 runs. Roll those 20-sided dice ....I suspect it will depend on your 'loot score' , 'item score' , whatever you want to call it. (DISCLAIMER: I could be wrong)

It has nothing to do with lootscore. It should be somewhere near 1% but I don't think the most recent push to tweak it worked so it may still be closer to 5%. And no, they are not in the regular chests.

Well, time to give up then.
You could, you know, push that fix through never and keep it at 5% ![]()
1% is... Average 500 games to get the 5 weapons? I suspect most people will acquire the level 27 blue chest weapons from a future update before even seeing one of these.
1%? 5%? After an average one hour of tedious nightmare run, I should look forward to a 1-5% drop rate? Seriously?
1% is seriously low for a drop rate in such a game. Even 5% is one weapon in 20 runs in average. That's not counting bad luck. And random disconnects. And other game breaking bugs which prevents you to play properly (invisible enemies, enemies stuck behind doors etc.). And infinite loading screens which kick you from, a maybe good, PUG. 1% should be fixed, it's way to low, if active <.<
1%? screw that. FC being the lag & crash fest it its there's no way I'm going to bother farming it.

On average... but that's across thousands of games. Remember how the perilous dragon drops were supposedly 1/10 or 10% but people kept on getting 20-30 streaks with no weapons? Imagine 200-300 games with no weapons. Quite easily possible with a 1% drop rate.
Some people are hideously lucky early on though. So far I've done at least a dozen NM runs (probably two), and four other people that weren't me (maybe five), all got Hakkon weapons, and each one of them was a new person or newly returned to the game... I'm jealous. Stupid jealous of the people I carry through NM and get weapons.
Ah well. At least I can do NM and carry them. They need the weapons more than I do (even though I'd do more with them).

It takes 10-15 min with spawn camping. With this method you can do 5 runs in a hour, which offsets the 1% drop rate (otherwise 5% for a glitchless hour-long run). And on top of that, these are endgame weapons. They shouldn't be easily obtainable. There will never be anything better for MP, pretty sure about that.
As I said in beta, I'd have preferred if they dropped from the Heartbreaker dragon as a guaranteed drop (and make the level 25 weapons drop from NM dragon instead). HB definitely requires good teamplay and well-geared characters, whereas newbies can still be carried in NM by friends.

i got 3 in 6 or 7 games, cirvante said Penguin got 2 in 3 games. drop rates not 1%.

I got all 5 in less than 60 runs. Either way I don't see why players are complaining.
Yo dawg I heard that people need the hakkon weapons to play the nightmare to get the hakkon weapons, those that don't have hakkon weapons and can beat dragon nightmare don't need the hakkon weapons......dawg.

Only if you have elite players to begin with. Weaker players cannot achieve this. I've tried with weaker player accounts as teammates. They just die. I don't run with you, and I have a strong account / skill set to begin with. I cannot camp everywhere. I do 30 minutes at best (and that's with strong teammates) because I still promote, so there's 30 minutes of perilous runs in between every 2-4 runs.
Either way you have ridiculous luck. People will poor luck can go 300 runs, assuming 1%, without even hitting one weapon. That's 300 hrs of game time realistically. If the luck streak remains bad, that's what 1500 hrs worth of gaming to get all the weapons. That's almost my entire game time played in this game.
Heck even if you magically was able to have four people ready to go (which is not likely), and do 15 minute runs, it'd still be nearly 400 hrs of game time, which is far more than most players get to in this game.
1% is a ridiculously low drop rate for something that takes an hour or more to do legitimately. The whites I get are really a slap in the face, especially when its late night and someone hits the door to the 4th zone without hitting the gong first. Much much wasted time.
As Luke said earlier, don't get too comfortable on spawn points.

So, after 5% and spawn camping gets nuked, rip everyone else who wants these weapons ![]()
Early adoption bonus OP!
To be honest, I don't mind the fact that it is grindy, fine, whatever, if these really are the best weapons this game will ever see. It's the fact that this is an RNG landmine. I've seen enough of this from every other loot hunting rng focused RPG. If instead Luke said "kill NM Dragon 100 times, a guaranteed Hakkon weapon that you do not already have drops," it would be a 224984394839x better situation.
