So out of curiosity, how do these (and the other item pack) compare to the top tier schematics of the game (outside of JoH, at least?).  Are they as underpowered as the Flames of the Inquisition stuff?

The Spoils of the Avvar armor T3 sets had a hair better armor value than the FoI set (19 vs 18 Leather for Armor) and it won't surprise me if the Qunari sets follow suit. It looks like they want to keep the best gear in the core game and DLC.

You would say that. So easily entertained. ;) And I am twirling my stache in distaste.

I was going to make joke of this after the Qunari story DLC officially announced, but Bioware goes ahead of me...

*Spoils of Dalish/Tevinter/Orlais/Free Marches/Ferelden/Grey Warden/Andraste comfirmed.*

Unsurprising, as it's a fine balance to walk between "can't compete" and "pay-to-win".  For me, personally, I don't necessarily mind the latter, though, especially in a single player game anyway, but I can see where others might.  Thus, I hope they enjoy the pack if it's their thing, but I can't convince myself to shell out unless I'm getting both form and function (although, hint, hint, BW, since the Skyhold/War Room underoos have only form, I'd have an easier justifying a pack that gave me something to replace those with...just sayin').

Speaking of Qunari armor, do you guys think we'll get Vitaar schematics?

I don't know what it is but I hate all the DA alternate look packs. (DA2 and DAI)

It also feels like way too much for so little content, and this is from someone that bought about a dozen Borderlands 2 alternate look packs and every Mass Effect (1-3) DLC released, including the alternate looks. Heck for the same price Skyrim sold Hearthfire that let you build 3 homes and adopt war orphans. With DLC like this I just don't understand the DA team anymore.

Did the last spoils DLC even give you a quest to go find the stuff at least? Or was it like the deluxe edition stuff where you just get it delivered to your special delivery box?

It's just in the chest and in the Skyhold decoration contraption.

I love the Dragon Age ][ Item packs. Cheap, and added great times for all classes.

So I learned you can't customize the color scheme of the new armors.

Thanks, I wish if it's just a few new items it could at least have a fast 5 minute quest to go with it.

I'm glad you like your purchase! Nothing in the packs really interested me but I may have to buy them anyway. I have left over BioWare points and nothing left in ME to spend it on and the fix they said they were working on a year ago for people with left over points I think it's safe to say by now isn't coming, much like that Deception rewrite. The only thing I have left to buy with the points is the DA2 item sets.

People would've complained about it if they did it

It seems to be a bug because it's apparently working for the males

You can on any race besides Qunari--it's a bug, supposedly.

Are they serious? I spent over a hundred dollars on outfits, weapons, mounts and stronghold decorations for SWTOR(that was in real currency; in in-game currency, that was more like a thousand). Because OTHER PEOPLE COULD SEE THEM. There was a point in strutting around the fleet on a rancor wearing Darth Revan's outfit.

What's the point here, in a single-player game? I just don't see it. When I played DA2, my Hawke had been wearing the vest she got at the beginning of the game from the smugglers all that entire time. In DA:I, my mage Inquisitor had been wearing the outfit she's given right after the Inquisition was declared; then I got her a velvet uniform. Because

1) I don't care about all those Qunari/Avvar outfits, though I'd open my wallet gladly for some ELVEN ones;

2) No one can see them anyway.

I am going to assume no (the Avvar one didn't have any helmets in general) but did it add any proper helmets for Qunari inquisitors?

I still want one or two BioWare, Vitaar just looks silly most of the time.
