Agreed, if they frequent the forums more often they'd have known the minute people started to report it. Instead, they took it down almost 12 hours later.

Ah well, at least we know the actual release date. A shame they don't just release it now, I don't see the point in waiting but meh.

You mean to soy they released it accidentally? Okay, fair enough. But if it releases July 21st as they're saying now, when is it going to be announced? The same day as with JoH? The cat's out of the bag now, I'm afraid.

I wouldn't be surprised if the release was an accident from XBox people's part. Remember how the ME3 demo was accidentally released too early on the XBox Store, which lead to someone finding the entire script of the game from the demo files? Ah, good times.

Well SDCC finishes on the 12^th so if they were to announce story DLC there we could get a release on the 14^th followed by spoils of the qunari the following week. I’m doubtful that will happen but it will be interesting to see.

...Huh.  While the Avaar pack didn't do anything for me, this one I actually really like.

 

Armors for my Qunari gal?  (And the guy I will probably eventually make?)  YES PLEASE.  She hardly has anything to wear, and she would look kickass in both those armor sets.  I actually find both of them (though especially the light one) rather attractive.  They also fill the sexy armor niche people have been asking for: that's not really a big deal to me, but it's there.  That also might be my favorite of all the horses I've ever seen, with it's NO EYES sightlessness.  I also love the nekked statues and the bed, and the throne looks awesome if, uh, that view blocking gets fixed.

 

 

...Yet I still don't know if I'm going to spend money on it.  The Qunari are definitely the race that needed this the most (possibly followed by the dwarves)- there's already various Dalish stuff and gathering of stuff from all different human countries (and of course all the Chantry stuff). They didn't even have one suit of armor made just for them!   Yet... ugh.  Money.  On a simple item pack?  Really not sure about it.

Yes, but not in the way you may be thinking.

It tells us there isn't going to be any story DLC this month. We'll have to wait at least until August.

You don't know that for sure. Spoils of the avaar came out about a week after JoH. Spoils of qunari is coming out in two weeks. A story dlc could be released in the week between.

Jaws of Hakkon was first released on March 24 for Xboxes , then May 26 for everyone else. Spoils of the Avvar was released on June 9 I believe.

 

From the first date, it's 3 months from Jaws to Spoils. From the second date, 3 weeks.

You don't know that for sure. Spoils of the avaar came out about a week after JoH. Spoils of qunari is coming out in two weeks. A story dlc could be released in the week between.

They're not going to have it so that the final single-player DLC ever released for Inquisition is some cheap appearance pack, which is why it's coming out before the story DLC this time.

Even if you don't believe that the upcoming DLC is going to be the last (as I suspect it will be), they're not going to patch the game again in the next couple weeks (this patch didn't have anything for that DLC or add any new achievements for consoles).
