So it seems as if this DLC wasn't even released today. Such a shame. I'm half tempted at this point to not buy it at all, it amazes me how they will hold finished content back for extensive periods of time just for the sake of it.

It wouldn't have been released yesterday. If it's released this week, it would be today since new content for consoles is usually released/updated on a Tuesday. Not sure about PC but if they want to make it the same across the board it would be today.

Makes you laugh really, they announce a DLC only to remove it before anyone except Youtubers can get it, then wonder why everyone complains about bad content management. Get your act together guys, you're meant to be good at this!

If the Avvar announcement is anything to go by, there wont be an announcement until the content is actually released. Since its probably early morning in US/Canada, that may not happen for hours.Nothing on PC, as usual. No announcement either.

It's a bit ridiculous that in today's day and age no one has automated content release. Are we really waiting for someone to come and flip a switch?

Evidently so, and it really doesn't make sense. We've got automated defense systems, automated robots, yet not automated timer for software distribution? Can someone please explain? Seriously, I need to know.

They may have an automated system in place, but its always better to have someone around to make sure everything works fine. The Xbox leak may have been due to a mistake in such system.It's a bit ridiculous that in today's day and age no one has automated content release. Either way the content is not time sensitive and does not need to be up by 0:00 GMT (which would make it day earlier for US customers anyway).

It's not "flicking a switch" for release, it's when the specific store you're buying from online updates it's content. So yes, almost every platform plus different countries have a different date/time they will get it. you could be able to buy this DLC early on the 21st. You may need to wait until late on the 23rd, and anywhere in between. Depends on what platform you use to play DAi, and which country you live in.
