Well I can't seem them in that image, but I'm assuming that there are eye slits in the helmet.

No one is going to say anything about the rockin' abs on the right? If I had a fem Qunari PC I would buy this pack for that armor alone. (I don't wear cross-culture OR cross-faction [that is, no Warden gear on non-Wardens] armor on my characters.)

The Qunari statues have better hair options than the Qunari CC has.

Its one of the rare, equine saerbaas. Inside that visor is verses of the Qun. It needs to see nothing else.

 

The other mount mentioned in the DLC description must be its Aarvarad.

 

Unlike the spoils of the Avvar, I am seriously considering this one. My female qunari mage would look super cool in that light armor. And she might like to sprinkle a Qunari furnishing about here or there, even though she doesn't subscribe to the Qun. For heritage's sake. Maybe.

Same. Except I do have a qunari PC, so that works out for me. But, like, that Arishok armor is cool and great for a warrior, but on Cassandra? >_> I'm sure it will look awesome on Bull and qunari PCs, though, so still worth it.

One part of me feels glad that the next Qunari Invasion is being saved for it's own game. Another part of me is hoping there's something else besides an item pack.

It's kind of strange, actually.  I liked Inquisition quite a bit more than DA2, but I bought every piece of DLC for 2 (including the Item packs) and haven't yet paid for any DLC for Inquisition.  Not entirely sure why, either....

 

I'll probably wait to see what the next story DLC is like before pressing go on either this one, the Avvar item pack or any others like it, I think.

An invasion would be a war on the part of the Qunari. And a war isn't decided by one battle. The next story DLC could very well be the start ofthe qunari invasion. Nothing says the invasion has to end in it, even if the Inquisition beats them back in the DLC. It could just be the opening volley. Then throughout DA4 the reason the Inquisitor doesn't get involved in w/e is going on wherever the game takes place is b/c the Inquisition is busy fending off the Qunari from southern Thedas.

Well, that's certainly part of it - for JoH, at least, when coupled with how long people were reporting they got out of it - but these Item packs are cheaper than, or the same price as DA2's Item Packs (at least, from memory they are).

 

Maybe it's just that there is enough in the vanilla game whereas with DA2 Legacy and to a lesser extent MotA were - for me - easily the best parts of the game.

The Flames of the Inquisition DLC gives you Tier-2 and Tier-3 schematics of the pre-order armor and weapons. The Spoils of the Avvar I believe work the same way, excluding any pre-made Avvar armor.

Right, but that's still a bit of a spectrum, I guess is my point.  Comparatively, the FoI stuff is pretty weak for its respective tiers.  Some of this stuff in these packs has looked somewhat interesting, but it's hard to justify blowing six or so bucks for "somewhat interesting" on the style side, when it gets completely overshadowed by what's already in the game on the twinky side of things.
