Any comments on ship designs or images that are similar to what you want to see in ME:A

Yes, the design of the two Normandys was atrocious. So much wasted space, not enough safety measures, illogical architecture, pointless crew, all responsibilities concentracted on pilot and AI, flight control touchscreens are the worst possible way to steer, cargo not secured, no barrier between drive core and engineering stations... seriously, I could go on and on.
The ships were designed as hubs for your crew and companions, they failed as (war) ships.

If the ship has alot of peoples in it for an expedition , I doubt we will be in charge of it .
While I loved the Normandy , I didn't like some stuff .
1-Taking my bar from ME2 to give me a useless poker Table that only kaidan can use .
2- the Normandy in ME2 was so glowy...too much Light .
3-Shep quarters were pretty much just a decoration . save for a few custcenes and poking the Hamster and feeding fishes there wasn't much you could do there .
I would have liked buttons to click !
that a medbay will be more then just for Dr.chakwa to hang in . Seeing patient come in and out and bed that are occupyed . Even the medigel Dispenser was missing!
To be able to sit anywhere on the ship , chairs , bed or at a table .

Well, that goes without saying.

I could pick holes in any of a dozen classic starship designs
If you wanted reality you would have a needle nosed windowless segmented tube packed packed tight to the rafters with gear and crew comfort and privacy a distant last on priorities
I like the normandy because it was such a versatile ship able to enter atmosphere, pick up and drop land vehicles, packed a fair wallop for its size and was agile and fast enough to get out of trouble - for the most part
as for gesture input, we all know its not the most ergonomic method of input
We also know reality doesnt make great sci fi - if you want that you probably need to find another game to play

I really had to roleplay sheppards quarters when Kelly said "You have a new message commander" I'd walk into my cabin shift+tab get my steam music playlist playing for sheppards quarters read my emails, feed my fish, pretend to have a shower, look at my medals, customize my armour and go back otherwise it was pretty useless.

Well, because it works as well turned around, i guess.
(its like a cloud, you can see it in different ways)
Fortunatly, i don't care that much about that ship.
I don't need a pretty one and give a crap about pseudo-realism.
I liked the bounty-hunter-ship of SWTOR.
Mabye we get our own little scoutship for us and our companions, while the huge Ark/Fleet is only a kind of Citadel, gameplaywise.

Smuggler ship was very roomie .
Maybe we can drive shuttle this time around .

I think we're probably going to get a huge honkin' ship that will sort of fulfill the same purpose that Citadel served in the original trilogy. We're not going to pack a viable, multispecies breeding population into something the size of the Normandy.

Maybe Bioware might go that extra mile and give us more than one ship to choose from.
If not I really hope our ship looks like a reaper. ![]()

lol are you serious? That's the ugliest ship I've ever seen.
Agent Ship and Fury (Sith ship) FTW. Even though the latter is the notATieBomber.
I want to pilot the Ark, see the designs, maybe even customize them.

Its a matter of taste..what you find ugly may just be beautiful for someone else ![]()
Agent ship feel sterile like...while the outside is beautiful . The inside isn't .

The inside matches the outside- smooth and flowing and very cool. I think I prefer the high tech aesthetic to the industrial look. Not that I couldn't get behind the industrial look in certain cases. But the BH ship looks way too awkward. There's no style to its shape. The smuggler ship gets it right, even if the points don't count for copying the Millennium Falcon. Since the BH is basically notJango/Boba Fett I'm surprised they failed so hard at making an expy of Slave I. It looks like they only took the "awkward angle" note and ran with it.

Smuggler ship was very roomie , so is Trooper ship . JK/JC and SW/SI now..those ships.....I just wish each had a different ones . But they share the same ship..drive me bonker . Sorc deserve something purple

I do hope that we'll get another sleek looking ship. After the trailer, I am a bit afraid that the devs will extend the whole cowboy routine and give us some older looking rugged ship. I hope this is not the case. For me, ME was always about clean looking sleek forms and shiny surfaces and that's what I want from my ship as well. The SR2 in ME3 was already very stuffed and "untidy" for my tastes (though it did make sense in the story). I hope the new ship will be similar to the SR1 in that it has a very polished feel to it.

Depending how the story plays out i guess depends on what i want for a ship
Are we newly arrived in the Andromeda system? then i want a huge ship that is the players main hub that we launch from to explore etc
Are wee long settled in Andromeda? then well another Normandy i guess
Really depends on how the story unfolds tbh

Agreed about the ship sharing. I'm indifferent to the Jedi ship. I like the Sith one though.
The cockpit on the smuggler ship is also very awkward. Windows are too narrow and the control panels feel to high. When I sit at the galaxy map it feels like I would need to reach at shoulder height to hit the buttons. And the (presumably) pilot and navigator seats look like they'd be staring at a wall. The agent and trooper ships have this to a lesser extent as well.

While I didn't like the armour in whole ME series I have to say that I really liked all three iterations of SSV Normandy.
This ship very soon became not just a vessel but a member of the team.
I don't really have any specific desires to what it should look like but I hope it will be as important in the story as the Normandy was.

Well, not really. You can rent them currently for in game currency and later on you can acquire them in game by just playing the game.
For now you don't buy ship you support the game development. ![]()
