No it's not. The consoles simply aren't powerful enough to play what BioWare is planning ahead for the next DLCs so they had to make a choice. They took a risk, a chance to allow people to play the main story on old generation consoles and sadly they shouldn't had. Most people I know who played the PS3 and Xbox360 versions of the game did nothing but complain to BioWare about the performance issues of the game after the first few patches. To me it makes sense that they are asking people to upgrade to the newer generation. It's not fair, but it still makes sense.

You missed the point entirely. Take out your rage on someone else, because I ain't your punching bag.

Rage? It was simply sarcasm.

Sarcasm often implies a lot of rage within. You've been active on your own thread in the Feedback section and I know how much frustrating the experience was for you and many old gen people. My statement wasn't meant to insult you. I understand where you are coming from and I also understand where BioWare is coming from. In the end, we can't please everyone. Either we adapt or we sink.

If it's rage it's not directed to you.
Bioware could actually come closer to pleasing everyone, but they don't want to. Likely cause it's easier to just cut some people off than work solution that is okay for everyone.

Just look at their latest Spoils of Qunari DLC... It's so shameful, I can't believe they even allowed themselves to release something so broken.

Oh and in regards to any new Dlcs not being on last gen take into consideration that if that recent leaked survey is right we could potentally be fighting a Qunari Invasion which could mean large scale battles maybe that last gen just cant support.
Which is why I applaud the choice to come right out with the fact Mass Effect Andromeda & Fallout 4 are both going to be only on Current Gen & PC it sucks for 360 & PS3 owners but if you want to play Mass Effect Andromeda or Fallout 4 you'll need to upgrade i'm sorry.

Because I'm trying a new style. Just feeling like it. Don't worry, it's just a phase.

Teddie's right It sucks that it went down this way but to be fair last gens responsible for Inquistion missing alot because B-Ware made their statement that "All versions will be the same across the board" and sadly the finished product suffered because of it.

Yay, even more story-important content that I'll be missing.
I know that new games will be new gen only. However ME:A will be released in 1 and half year, maybe later if it's gets postponed. No reason for me to get PS4 yet, especially when there still aren't any sales for those.
Also although I'm getting ME:A for PS4 when it's released I see no point buying and paying two times for DAI. I already have it on PS3, why Bioware expects me to pour money to them for screwing me over? DAI isn't really worth paying 60 euros again and even buying DLC's on top of that.

It's quite weird considering that there isn't much stuff in the DLC to beging with. You would think that problems would have been noticed before it's release.

THE F IS WRONG WITH THAT?! THAT'S F****** STUPID!!
Memory limitations and everyone who got the game on next-gen systems are just happy about this because it might be a decision BIoware made because they'd have to cut a feature from a DLC otherwise.
In case you didn't know, ever since PS3 was introduced into Bioware's development schedule they've had big issues with getting all features into their games because PS3 had really bad RAM limitations. In ME3 all versions had no holster-mechanic as in ME1 or ME2 and it was said the memory limit of PS3 was the direct cause.
Parity is an issue in modern ports. By cutting off last-gen Bioware can simply aim higher, though, doing it for DLC in a game already released is certainly a controversial and ballsy move.

There is no need to suffer a bad reaction to a business announcement like this, as it seems pretty obvious that once an old format gets left behind - - - this is bound to happen at some point??
