For those of you not interested by a certain upcoming fantasy strategy being made by Creative Assembly, this might be different.

 

So, apparently, Sega has registered a site named "dawnofwar3" for something. So I must jump to the conclusion that a sequel to the Warhammer 40K RTS Dawn of War series is in the works.

 

What are your thoughts on the series? I hope that a potential Dawn of War 3 takes after DoW1 and Company of Heroes. While I enjoyed the game, I missed all of the base-building in DoW2.

 

Now, if only there was also a hint of Space Marine 2....

Well there is Eternal Crusade. It looks to play almost identical to Space Marine with the added bonus of having playable Eldar and Orks in addition to the the Space Marine and Chaos chapters.

I almost finished the original Dawn of War campaign about two years ago.

Dark Crusade was awesome, I just played as Tau once. I should continue it soon. I got stuck in the other expansion (the snowy one)...

 

Space Marine is cool and badass, too sad I couldn't kill the final boss!

All this game needs is voice acting half as good as its predecessors and it'll be a riot.

 

 

Now, if only there was also a hint of Space Marine 2....

 

I can't believe they had two sequels all planned out and everything.

 

It was a solid game, and there was so much more they could have done with it.

Very good! After hundreds of hours in Dawn of War 1+2 and their addons I need something new to burn heretics!

 

And I actually like the Blood Ravens and their story. It's about time that we see Chapter Master Gabriel Angelos kick ass and take names!

Eternal Crusade looks good but is still a little clunky and rough around the edges (I know, it's not done).

 

Space Marine had some "meat" in the combat. Also, multiplayer and Exterminatus were fun. I'm hoping for a sequel to ride GW's apparent hotstreak in 2016.
