So, for something to do, yesterday I created a new profile for my XB1.  After having updated DAI with the recent patch, decided what the heck, let's play some complete newbie DAIMP.  I forgot how almighty enemies seem on routine when you have lowly level 6 weapons and no accs yet...  bloody hell.

 

What I can say is, how beautiful art though level 13 Army Dirk... never thought I'd say that, but there it is.  You appear as God0like to those seeking greater weaponage.

 

I recommend all players do this, to regain that ever so temporary sense of awe and majesty as you pray to the RNG gods for greater weps and accs.  OMG....

Also, BW did a good job adding the proving ground for new players, and snuck in some funnies too.  Recommend you try it out once for giggles.

 

And, I want to thank BW for allowing new players to reap the benefits of victory/dragon chests although they had participated in any of the prior challenges.  The loot generally sucked (as usual), but thanks anyway BW, it is the thought that counts.

I also did that with a sub account , and I was really surprised to get the 2H Starfang with only 2 promotions in total lol

I know what you mean , and it reminded me that the AW it's only a tank with a good staff and will promotions .

Funny was take forever to kill a soldier with the Leggionaire(Inqui weapon) in routine , the other players left me behind with one soldier , and while they were killing everyone I was struggling to kill that single one .

yep, that's it.  I did get the Avvar unlocked, but the 68dps greatsword was pretty horrible even against mooks.  it's so easy to forget how it was when you have the good stuff.
