The agents of the inquisition are based at Skyhold.
You can see them hanging around the ramparts, near the stables, in the garden, and so on.
You can involve them is war table missions across Ferelden and Orlais.
They have been there since day one.
If the agents bring back a few trophies to their base, why is this a problem?
The Inquisitor has certainly brought back enough assorted crap from around and about.
Answer: It's not a problem.
The agents complete multiplayer missions means they have some trophies to take back to base.
They don't complete those missions, means they don't have those trophies. Duh.
Something to whine about?
I don't think so, I have no sympathy for such entitled idiocy.
None.
I have to admit, I'm not sure how you got whining, or entitled idiocy from any of my posts (unless you weren't meaning me, then ignore this), I was just pointing out there appears to be something of a disconnect between what was said ad nauseum pre-release and what has happened this week. I also said wasn't bothered by what I chose to forgo, just that the intent, or the concept by behind what they're doing is rather undesirable.
With regards to the other parts of your post, I hate - and I mean really hate - to be that guy on the internet, but many of things you point out only go to further my point.
Yes, the MP agents have always hung around Skyhold. Yes, they've always been part of War Table missions. Since the beginning. People who have never even clicked on MP in the menu have always had that 'content'. Now there is something that SP only people can't have without actively spending time in MP. Which, based on my interpretations of pre-release information is something we were told would not happen (the very generous offers of DragonRacer, Lynroy and others is great for those that really, really want those trophies, though). Your interpretation(s) may differ, and that's fine. To a point, that is why we have this 'discussion forum'.
The 'not a problem' part of your post is very much your opinion. As it happens, in this particular instance about this particular content, it's my opinion as well. But you and I can't make that decision for everyone else here. If people are actually angry about this, I don't get it, because I seldom spend time at Skyhold that isn't crafting or talking to companions, but that's me. I recall Patrick Weekes releasing a series of tweets about his Ass-Quisitor who was more interested in find drapery than saving the world. Some people take this aesthetic customisation stuff seriously.
There are plenty of things in the game that various groups of people could do without (or that they want added). Because something is not a problem for you (or for me), does not mean it is not a problem.
