So you can carry them on lower difficulties?

Btw, I salvaged two purple HoK rings in the last two days. How does that make you feel?

I definitely feel confident carrying Routine. It may not be fast, but it'll get there with enemy funneling. If I luck into getting two semi-workable PUGs to pad out the room, then it'll be faster.

Sadly, I am numb to the pain of no HoK rings anymore. However, I did pick a purple Dragon staff and two purple Dragon daggers, plus already had purple Dragon longsword, so several characters now have some level of HoK finally.

A routine dragon must take what? 10/15 mins? But people are saying it'll take too long....

15 mins is too long to acquire an accessory they will look at twice during their 7th 140 hour playthrough of SP.

I think the nice people in this thread should troll the hell out of the saltiest posters in the SP thread and keep wiping out at the end, test their dedication and desire to look at that dragon head on their castle wall :)

Funny to see the difference between here and reddit. On reddit the overal reaction was "guess i'll have to try out multiplayer" followed by "hey cool, i'll help you!". Here it's mostly "OH MY ****** GOD IM HAVING ME3 FLASHBACKS AND BIOWARE NEEDS TO DIE OF AIDS"

Wow, that thread is bad. People are nuts. I thought this sub was bad.

I found it ironic for the self proclaimed SP people calling people who play multiplayer "assholes" while the MP players were coming into their forum and doing nothing but nice things out of the goodness of their hearts.

As a heads up, one of the folks on Twitter was looking for help on PC, so I directed them to your Twitter account and tagged you on it. Hope that's okay. :)

Got four lined up myself so far, just gotta get them downloading their MP DLCs and dates/times set for the "escort". Funny thing is all the folks looking for help so far have come via Twitter; what, BSN SP folk shy? ;)

Thanks! I should have time to help a few before SDCC and any others after :D

I ran out of popcorn. Between this and no more DLC for old gen, the forums are in meltdown mode.

What generally bothers me more is being referred to as an MP person in a fashion that MP is the only thing that I do, play, or value.

I'm actually both. I love SP and MP. I play both. I daresay most of the folks here are the same. It's not as if MP is the only reason we bought the game - I know for some it is - so I always find it a bit disturbing when folks go on "you MP people" rants. I'm like, "Uh, I'm  an 'SP people', too, ya know?" These are not mutually exclusive game modes as far as player base.

Personally I play through all of the SP on Nightmare once, then get all the trophies, and then I play exclusively MP until the next DLC drops. Not sure if that makes me more of an SP or MP person but I certainly have a lot of DAI hours logged in any case :D

Not sure if I should ask here or somewhere else, but if any of you kind, knowledgeable MP-lovin' souls would be willing to carry a noob Legionnaire through a dragon run, I would be grateful.  :P Today is my first day even checking out MP (I know, shameful) so I will be terrible and confused, but I do have a dragon call thing from some free chest, if that helps at all. I'm on PC if that matters. Thanks!

Edit: Thank you for all the help, got my dragon swag, lol.

I'll bet Ispan or BadgerladUK would be able to help you out - they're PC folks who've offered to help. I'm PS4, so I can only point you in a good direction, sadly.

Having a Dragon Call to bring is excellent as well. That is what we have to use to summon the dragon and you lose it after you use it. You bringing one will save one of them from having to use their own Dragon Call, so you are literally paying for your own carry now. Nice! :D

Thanks so much! I will contact them, but I have a slightly dumb question...How? Is there in-game chat or something? I don't see a way to message anyone?  Probably overlooking something totally obvious.

You could pm them a message over BSN.  I dont know what (if any) messaging abilities Origin online gives.

What Kal just said. I'm not sure what their Origin IDs are, but both of them posted on the first page of this thread, so you could go to their username and send them a private message. :)

With an experienced team and one new person, how long does it take to run a routine dragon?  I confess I've never paid much attention.  I feel like it's in the 15 - 20 minute range.   Does anybody have a more accurate sense of it?  I suppose you could minimize that, even, for those that truly hate the experience by hosting a private lobby and only inviting the SP in at wave 5 -- wonder if that would compromise the ability to get the loot, though.  Shouldn't, I'd think as the task is to kill the dragon, right?

I did it in something like 15 minutes with my avvar at level 13 and a brand new Lego tagging along smashing pots.

Smart move from Bioware to get more players in. They said MP would have no impact on SP, but a small cosmetic upgrade won't hurt :)
We need more players in, whatever it takes. That is the reality. I am happy that Bioware has seen it and is taking the ME3 approach to deal with it.

I would gladly play with new players and help them out whenever I can. My time is a bit limited though, especially on weekdays. Still, if any PC player wants some help killing dragons, do not hesitate to friend request me.

"It feels good to be a cog in the machine for good"

Well done, Badger!

I've got a date set with someone tonight when I get off work. Bless her heart, she's staying up to midnight her time because we have a 6 hour time difference, but she really wants that set ASAP. It's been refreshing hearing her excitement on Twitter, messaging me about going through the Proving Grounds and she's excited to bring her support mage (so, obviously Keeper since she never touched MP before today).

I like it. The excitement is refreshing. My Katari is bringing his Necromancer friend along to help. Routine, Frost. Healing Mists on hand, though if she takes my advice and just keeps herself Barriered as much as possible, we can focus on Killing All The Things. That's nice because I originally was planning to bring Rion so I could Barrier babysit while also Killing All The Things, but this simplifies it now. As excited as she sounds, maybe she'll even stick around afterwards for a few more matches and a little better tutoring than the Proving Grounds. :)

The other three haven't set dates yet, but are in the pipeline for help. I'm kinda liking this.
