I almost hope they release a demo reel of how unplayable the content would be on last gen just so people might get over it.IS in OK if they release the DLC but the old gen hardware can't run it at a playable framerate?
You'd have a better chance asking Sony and Micro to make another version of the PS3 and 360
I'd have rather that they didn't release Inquisition for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, it should have been Current Gen only. But since they did that and released the first DLC for Last Gen, I feel that they should go ahead and make the rest of Inquisition's DLC for Last Gen. Otherwise, Last Gen won't be as complete of an experience as many were led to believe it would be.
I have the feeling that everyone saying last gen players should just move on are playing on new consoles. I wonder how they would feel if they were being denied content?
To be perfectly honest, I'd be annoyed but I'd also move on to the new consoles
DAI probably already suffered cuts to features and content because they couldn't get it to work with older gen systems. Which is why things like encounter size etc. were so small. I would rather have new DLC use the full potential of Frostbite and time used to make content, rather than downgrading content to half-decade old systems that can hardly handle the game. I would imagine that the DA team wasted a lot of resources and time already trying to get DAI to be compatiable with older systems when they could have used that to make a better game.
That said, I feel for the people using older gen systems especially those that can't afford new ones. Bioware shouldn't have made DAI compatible with old gen in the first place.
However, you guys are affecting my gaming experience when it comes to DAI not being exactly what it should have been due partly to adapting it to old technology. This is the way it must be. ![]()

This wouldn't have been an issue if Bioware dropped last gen altogether. Be glad you got to enjoy the vanilla game. There's nothing in your eula that states you are entitled to future DLC coverage. Time to move on from '05.
How about asking Microsoft to add DAI to the XBOX 360 to XBOX ONE compatibility list ![]()

As someone who owns this for the Xbox One, I both agree and disagree. I think it's screwed up to not only offer the vanilla game, but the first DLC as well. That led to -what I'd call reasonable- expectations that the rest of the DLC would be offered. There's the potential for people to have bought the Last Gen version instead of saving up for a new console and getting the Current Gen version because of the fact that they'd been led to believe that they could get the exact same experience (minus scars and better graphics); in my eyes, such a move is not fair to those consumers.
Again, I think it was a mistake to even make Inquisition for Last Gen Consoles, but they did and I believe they should stand by their dump (turn of phrase here, don't think the game is bad at all).
It all starts somewhere.
You have to realize that, Xbox 360 and PS3 will eventually have no more games made for them or have any that can support them.
Making DA:I even remotely playable on either two consoles was no more than a courtesy. You cannot expect BioWare to always support old gen.
Everyone who has anything less than a minimum required spec PC or old gen console, will have to come to terms that you are out of date and it is time to move on.
This petition is a waste of time, you are SOL. As games move on to higher quality, so do PCs, and consoles. No need to support that which cannot meet the requirement. This is why I play on PC. So long as you keep your rig up to date, it can run any game that was made for it.
Get a job. Buy a better machine. Enjoy Life.

I haven't paid for future games.
I paid full price for DAI.
That makes a big difference to me.

Did you not get to play DAI?
Yes, of course THH did. And thought is was worth the price when it was paid.
So there's no real argument being made here by the last-gen contingent except "I deserve... more."

We don't 'deserve more' we deserve what we should be entitled to as purchasers of the game.

At the time there was no indication the copy I purchased could not access future DLC as other identically advertised units on other platforms could.
Had I known that, I would not have purchased the game for PS3. (I still would have bought the game eventually on another platform, I just wouldn't have made the specific decision I did.)
More like "I deserve... for the limitations of what I'm purchasing to be disclosed at the time of purchase." ![]()
The elitism in his thread is just disgusting. You people are gloating that a number of people are getting screwed over just so you get stuff.
Would you still feel he same if say the dlc was PC only and people gloated about not being held back by consoles?
Not really a strong comparison....
