Case-in-point I held open the door at a 7-11 once for a person whose arms were clearly full and who just so happened to be a woman, for this I was rewarded with a disgusted groan/sigh, a scowl and a look of utter contempt and an angry/huffy "THANKS!". Now I just swing the doors open wide enough to let myself in wherever I go, If people are going to be complete ****s to me for no reason then I might as well at least give them one.
Thats messed up! I hold the door open for women all the time and all I get is stuff like "what a gentlemen" and "your mother raised you right"....guess it just depends on the individual.
