Wow, that really sounds like an overreaction. If you are concerned that the game is going to be bad just read spoiler-free reviews. There is no reason to spoil the entire game just because of your paranoia caused by the ME3 ending.
I am going to YouTube every character, romance option and ending before I purchase anything this time >(

I youtubed all of DAI before I bought it. Quite happy with the decision.

I think the TC is merely trying to say
Fool me once...shame on you...
etc.

I've liked every prior game enough to warrant a purchase, I have no fears about ME:A being at least good enough for that.

The gameplay and graphics I am not at all concerned about in the least, I mean its Bioware, but after ME3 I am not going to be negative but I am going to be very cautions of this new title. I am not worried about having stuff spoiled if I am going to spend my time and money on another ME game after what happened with ME3 I am going to make sure its worth it. Trailers and screenshots are great and all, they are meant to grab your attention, but lets look at the big picture here.
What about you guys?
I planned to do that after the mess that was DAI. BW like Ubisoft are no longer preorder companies for me. Actually I think the only companies to have that honor is CDPR and Naughty Dog. That's it. I plan to spoil myself immensely before buying any other game. I'm watching streamers, waiting for reviews from people I trust, watching some Let's plays, et al. My biggest concern is the story more than gameplay so that's where I plan to focus on in my decision to buy it.

I think it'll take you longer to YouTube everything than to just play the game.

Sure, the gameplay looked fun enough and I wanted to create my own characters. I tend to replay games so I don't always particularly care if I already know the storyline.
It's like rereading a book I enjoyed to me.

That sounds stupid. Sure, if the game is bad, you've skipped buying a bad game, but if the game is good, you've completely ruined your first playthrough experience.
Thats not worth it, you're better off waiting a few weeks after the game comes out and make a decision based on reviews, rather than spoiling everything for yourself.
Is the experience even worth 60$ if you've watched it all on youtube, regardless of the quality of the content? That just doesn't make any sense.

Not what I meant; spoilers really aren't a massive deal.
No I meant despite how it's a half complete total mess of a SP MMO.
Its storyline that falls flat, its complete disregard of all the building elements of the conflict in game...overall its probably the worst Bioware product I've ever paid money for.
Hence why I literally gave it away.

I never considered it's short comings that dire and enjoyed it for what it was. Which was an overall improvement on DA2.

Liked DA2 much better, I'd take reused environments over the travesty of having those bloody fields with jack **** in em.

You'd better read the final chapter of every book before you leave the bookstore too. I'd hate for you to accidently risk being disappointed by something.
But if I Youtube them, I can listen to Gilbert Gottfried reading them in a suitably dramatic fashion.

What about me? I think you're lost and this is a forum for video games.
See what you made me do OP? For once I agree with this guy. WITH THIS GUY!! Do you know who this guy is? He is the enemy of SP and you made me agree with him. What is the point if you are just going to spoil it on youtube? Also you have your priorities mixed up if you are just going to fixate on romances and the last few minutes of the game. You remind me of the retake crowd. They had their priorities messed up to.

I loved ME3 until the I met the starchild. But anyway, Im wouldnt worry to much, I even loved DAI, because I skipped the exploring of the huge maps. I played it 4 times focussing on decisions, the main story and the romances and I loved to see the different cutscenes.
Listen Bioware: There is no need to make a huge open world. It just distracts from the main story and it's boring and just a huge timesink!

Studies show that the actual normally people who know the spoilers get as much satisfaction as those who don't, so this is a valid approach.
You got links? I'm curious about the methodology. I'd hate being spoiled, but I'd never get spoiled in the first place. Is there anything but selection bias being tested?
There are two exceptions though, one is where the entire premise is based on spoilers, a la, the Sixth Sense, and stuff with cross-culturally genre terrible endings, where my mother and dudes at a bar can both joke about how horrible the ending was, a la ME3.
All this example proves is that people don't have to understand a meme to participate in it.

True that. I've spent 60 dollars on a bottle of adult beverage I turned out not to like and wound up giving away just to sate curiosity. (Turns out I did NOT enjoy that brand of bourbon. Alas.) And a vidja game contains many more hours of entertainment than your average bottle of ritzy booze, unless your friends are lighter-weight than mine.

Exactly. I wonder if he uses the same thorough methods with hotpockets. He will only go to grocery stores that give out a free sample before he spends five bucks on a box.

I support the OP's right to go through whatever decision making process s/he feels best before making a purchase. I'm not sure why the OP feels the need to tell us about it, however...
