At least YOU see the light. Seriously, that zombies trailer is dope as hell. You see them tentacle powers ala The Darkness and every hentai ever? Looking good.
The Darkness and BioShock were among the first thoughts I had after watching the trailer.
I'm going to break character for a moment and state that Black Ops III is looking like a game I would genuinely consider playing if it wasn't for the community and DLC/pricing nonsense that usually accompanies Call of Duty games.
My jokes aside. It does seem that BOIII has taken a bunch of older FPS' and tossed them in a blender. Whether it's good or bad remains to be seen though I'd be surprised to see if they actually screw it up (mechanic wise) campaign wise. I have no expectation on that front. It seems by having a third studio working on the COD franchise might actually be what it needs. But based on its history of constantly being the same vein as the successors, innovation may have a negative effect on it. Though if Activision is smart only one of the three studios should innovate while the other 2 play it safe.
I'm interested in COD and AC franchise in if it'll be possible for a publisher to drive them into the ground with franchise fatigue. Based on the previous history with COD it may not. But it is interesting to watch.
Impulse. You need to watch a lot more Disney films. Become a child again and rebuild yourself from the ground up using those as a base. It's your only hope.
I recommend starting with the Lion King myself. After that you can move to Aladdin and the Jungle Book
In second grade pre-school my very perceptual co-student Christopher wrote a story about a future where womankind had overtaken mankind, and the remaining men would be their slaves. The protagonist was an escaped inmate who'd have to go through a stealth mission to avoid all women on his path and free other men.
Really funny to think back to -- *reflective pause* -- but not so funny looking at the present... Or the future! *cue intro splash and dramatic music*
