In case some of you find this useful, here are my recorded ranges for Hakkon weapons so far:

 

Hakkon's Honor (1h sword): 224 - 233

Hakkon's Mercy (dagger): 166 - 172

Hakkon's Valor (2h sword): 311 - 324

Hakkon's Wisdom (staff): 87 - 89

Hakkon's Wrath (bow): 187 - 193

I'm having bad luck atm.  I have a great dagger, but I pretty much get the lowest possible every single other time.  From everything I have seen myself and friends this list looks accurate as far as the damage values go.  I hoping to get a weapon above the lowest on the other items.

You are quite right in this.
Like dagger is nice. On everything else there are many problems.
2h sword upgrades sucks for HoK, because of it I will stay with dragon maul on my Avvar and use hakkon on reaver and katari.
1h sword is fancy for lego but on templar? Depends on if I could wombo jombo on NM with it. If not than I would prefer this new explosive axe.
Bow? - new bow, heartstring of whatever is great, got everything needed really. This hakkon "griffon" better version lacks HoK, lacks HoT. Maybe for hunter, maybe for damagefocused archer who don't care about defense. Maybe. You still won't get 16k damage longshot to 1 shot on NM either way.
Staff?- just fancy, mana reduction is not that bad, upgrades are welcome. Most mages aren't even deal that damage but autoattacks looks nicer.

+ 30% party damage isnt good? You can also have at least 18% HoK on it as well...

I remember reading some other posts of his.  I have decided he is one of those people who want to troll, but doesn't want to quite take the plunge.  Like hes testing the waters.

 

I guess its possible he is a noob that is obsessed with HoK.  Don't get me wrong HoK is amazing and really great to an extent, but my god.  I think its the former though.  He gives that vibe off to me.

In that situation, when I had only one HoK ring maul was just better. Pretty much the same damage when I consider different upgrades.
Upgrading hakkon sword with HoK gives poor value and waste two slots on some t2 crap.
Now I have second HoK ring and can use hakkon sword on avvar in the way I wanted, upgraded with crit chance and attack t3 upgrades.

And yes I prefer to have 20% HoK on Avvar. You are a obsessed with farming NM noob. Stop calling ppl names you jerk.

You can slice it any way you want.  Bottom line the Hakkon weapons are amazing.  How can you expect to be taken seriously after you agree with someone who was being sarcastic in the first place saying they were "not that good"  You're not fooling me.
