Resources would be better spent bringing Kelly Chambers to Andromeda.
I like Kelly, but do you really want to put up with all the jokes about who introduced Scale Itch to Andromeda?

No. No. No. No. **** no. Absolutely not.
Liara already got shoved into more places than she needed to be, getting pushed into a position of prominence by the writers, not in reaction to anything that she specifically as a character brought to the table - she didn't need to be involved in recovering Shepard's body and handing it off to Cerberus, and ME3 made her into Shepard's closest confidante regardless of how the player might feel.
Liara's had her time in the spotlight (more than, IMO). NONE of Shepard's crew should appear. Let's make a clean break with the last three games and move on.
Seems likely ![]()

That would be interesting, and would bridge ME3 to the new series on a more personal level. Maybe a short cameo role (she could be the quest giver for a mission or something). But I think Bioware wants to distance themselves from all that is Shepard, so I think anything that ties the universe to her/him will be nixed.
I am so sick of liara there where other characters in ME too :/
They'd be dead though, unless ME is set during or directly after the trilogy everyone is too short lived or old to be present.I am so sick of liara there where other characters in ME too :/

Liara can be dead too
Javik is all the reference to the original trilogy we need.
No.
We run into the same people over and over whilst planet-hopping across the galaxy over the course of 3 games, making the Milky Way seem smaller than a country town with one stoplight.
And now people want Bioware to make Andromeda (and by extension the entire universe) a small place as well.
No thanks. I hope Bioware takes the time to broaden their horizons.
"Matriarch" Aethyta would be a better choice.
A singularity slappin', badass matriarch with a dry sense of humor? Yes please!
I enjoyed Liara's arc through ME (also, she seems to make Talimancers mad, which is a definite plus...), but there is no point in dragging it any further,
and it won't be possible anyway without a cringe-worthy retcon.
Oh look, it's that thread again...

I'm starting to sound like a broken record...
(In case you're too lazy to look at the link: NO)
Liara was deatomized by Harby, no thank you.
Bioware have obviously stated that Andromeda will not contain Shepard
but they did say there will be a reference to the original trilogy for fans of the original series.
i was wondering what people would think of Liara being present, my reason being is that her presence only cancels the refuse ending of the trilogy not harming decisions.
As well as this she was only 106 in ME:1 and about 109/10 in 3,this is obviously very young for an Asari so she could be alive in Adromeda unless it is siginificantly into the future. She is also the shadow broker, meaning she has a vital role on thr galactic stage so will naturally be interested in moving into a new galaxy.
Liara in my opinion would be a fantastic way to reference the original games and give some closure to what happened afterwards, they could have her dialogue be based on a decision at the start of the game too. Destroy referencing shepards return perhapS?
i know many didnt like the use of liara as she couldn't be killed and was pushed too much but i think it would work in the new trilogy if she had a small role.
Thoughts?
I believe Bioware has already said none of the characters from the trilogy will be in Andromeda. Not that they won't be mentioned, they just won't be in the game.

Actually they said some familiar faces will be in the game. By familiar faces I assume they mean characters that weren't on the Normandy though.
On that note, I hope Shiala & Gianna Parasini make it on the Ark.

Nope. Both can be dead

Oh yeah, arguably best minor NPC in the games.

There's the impediment.
She can potentially die on Noveria so it's unlikely BioWare will have her pop up in Andromeda.
yeah someone working there was asked and he responded by saying Hmm, the reported thought he was keeping his cards close to his chest suggesting yes they will be returns.Actually they said some familiar faces will be in the game. Gianna was cool, i missed her in ME3, she suffered the dark energy Assasination unfortunatelyOh yeah, arguably best minor NPC in the games.
Gavorn and Shisk need to be in this.
*Made it myself :-P
