Who'll shapeshift in different races, sexes and classes so that no one feels left out.
Nah too much effort. Dwarf lady for all.

I would love it if we continued as the Inquisitor and the Inquisition in the next Dragon Age game.
I think it would be cool if the Inquisitor and the Inquisition appeared in the next game. However, there's a possibility the Inquisitor's story may end in future DLC.
I don't mind if the Inquisition continues but I'm looking forward to going north and leaving most of south stuff behind and that includes the previous pcs and their companions.
The Inquisition was just too dull and colourless for me, personally. I could stand to leave them behind. Or have Skyhold blown up. Either way works, really. ![]()
The only way I see it staying in power is if it becomes the first PMC of Thedas. Meaning, the Inquisition breaks ties with all of its religious affiliations, and becomes a bastion for all the veterans and soldiers who would otherwise be forced to resettle and adapt to 'normal Thedain society'. It would scoop up all of those soldiers who would normally be displaced, and then carry out wars of proxy for the highest bidder (meaning they maintain some separate state affiliations). It would make for some excellent drama between the Inquisitor and Cassandra (especially if she was romanced and or became the Divine) since Cassandra was the one who basically set the gears in motion to begin with. However, that won't happen, because the story would be too much like Metal Gear Solid.

Well, Bioware did compare making the Inquisition to like forming the Jedi Order, and the Jedi were politically neutral...technically. However instead of severing all ties, it more likely is like the Grey Wardens and has formed ties with all nations and groups.

I meant religion as an ideology, not as an institution. A PMC cannot have ideals if it is going to fight wars of proxy for other nations.
Well, the survey had that you'll decide the final fate of the inquisition. I guess this will be up to the players if it's still around or not. I think the Inquisition still has it place in Thedas for now.
As much as I fear the Inquisition will somehow become a puppet to the Orlesian Chantry, it has it place for now. I would hate to see it disband while it still has some use, especially when the Qunari plan to invade Thedas.
They should make the next game an MMO and the inquisition will become evil with inquisitor as an endgame boss.

Do you mean Seppuku? Or do you mean that the Inquistor should commit himself to number puzzles for the rest of his existance?
"In mother Thedas, this is called harakiri:"
XD
I mean what I write, and I write what I mean.
Well, if the Inquisition came to power so easy, it will fall that easy. Most of people joined either in despair or because they saw it as a chance to get power with ease, the worst part is that some of them did it. I wouldn't be surprised if Vivienne as a Divine turns against you at the first chance, and I better would keep people like Sidony away from any place that could have powerful artifacts that could be stolen.
But talking about the "leaked" DLC, I've thought about it, and I certainly think that it makes little sense on many aspects: It's said it will be the "last" DLC story and apparently Solas will play as the bad guy, according to the same leak we will face the Qunari army, and we were promised a darkspawn DLC months ago. What the hell? If Qunari are supposed to be Solas' minions it will be something weird, since Qunari seemingly like to destroy everything that Solas cares about, and I don't see where the darkspawn fit on this story.
Actually the survey doesn't say that Solas will be the bad guy. I believe that he will be present but he isn't the enemy.
Who has promised that there will be a darkspawn DLC?

I was just recalling what many thought would be the "Evil who started all" or something like that, Qunari don't have anything to do with the Breach matter.
Looks like Aarynn Flin was the one who basically said we would see more darkspawn on a future DLC.
I think the survey talked about "the one who started it all" which could mean Solas but it doesn't necessarily mean that he is our enemy. Maybe the qunari army is our enemy or they belong to our new enemy whoever that is.
Ugh, I don't want to fight Solas. I would prefer him to remain a Flemeth-like character, the trickster whose machinations sometimes work to our disfavor, but are part of a larger picture.
I would definitely like to explore all these hints about lyrium and the taint that have been introduced and how the Qunari came to be and whether they're associated with dragon's blood, though I hope that mysteries will remain to keep us playing more Dragon Age games.
My guess would be that the next Dragon Age takes place in northern Thedas, specifically Tevinter and the Anderfels. The Quinari being a direct threat to all of Thedas, I suspect that the Inquisition who has made alliances with many countries and seen as a world power on it's own would be heavily involved in that regard and with anything Solas is involved in should he return. I imagine that we will be taking the reigns of a new protagonist to provide a fresh perspective on the new region.
And as with all major operations I expect our Inquisitor to be there in person, representing the Inquisition and providing a nice cameo or baring that a really really really good explanation as to why they aren't there if the Qunari are indeed invading. I wonder if an Inquisitor who drank from the Well of Sorrows would know how to defeat the Qunari more easily? I wonder if the Tevinter Elves would worship an Elven Inquisitor who drank from the Well?
I hope that factor isn't just eliminated from the plot like Kieran's God Soul was.
No.
Wait, let me check again.
NO.
The Inquisition exists as a power due to its alliance with various nations, its financial, political and military power in and of itself is quite minute
So I'd assume if there was a new focus post Cory the Inquisition would be left in the dust of history and die a slow and innoble death from plain old lack of interest.
The Breach, Cory, the war, all of these reasons why it was called are now past. Will the Inquisition exist two decades from its formation? Somehow I doubt it.
Or a meteorite will simply crush skyhold, that can be a good way to write off the Inquisition.
My guess? We'll have some sway on what happens to the Inquisition in the future in DAI DLC.
We may meet agents of the Inquisition in Northern Thedas (Most likely setting for the next game)..
I would think this is highly unlikely.Well, the survey had that you'll decide the final fate of the inquisition. I guess this will be up to the players if it's still around or not. I think the Inquisition still has it place in Thedas for now.
Could the next game possibly move to tevinter or some where that the inquisition isn't as involved in. they may still exist, but i doubt you'll still be playing a member of the inquisition - we've never played the same character twice and it would be a bit sucky to play some one else in the inquisition other than the inquisitor.
I wouldn't mind playing the same character - but it's not the DA way. The quis will probably disappear as all the heroes do, though I hope not.
