[Learn To Love Yourself]

No games I've played lately have had one SE.  It seems

sinful for this character to not be more popular.  I don't see

threads detailing possible builds, so please post some you've used

lately.  I usually only put a few points into decoy.

 

Is it a bad idea to totally spec out of decoy?  Some say 

it is not a very good power, but it has its uses.  It isn't total

trash, at least.  Anyway, I'd like to pay homage to Salarians this

day and just play the underappreciated SE today.

 

You may want to add some reasons why you spec, but

guys, please be civil and stay on topic.  I'd like to really

rock this character out.  Here's my build.

Its a shame we didnt get more salarians, almost sinful really, I never play the kit because I gotta play OP **** to stay on top (what she said) if I did I would probably do something like spec out of decoy and use acolyte, wraith, because I am unoriginal and want good reliable weapons.

I can’t believe you!  The Salarians are awesome!  I hope you

will give them a try, after all.  Let’s play sometime, and I will

eat my hat if you don’t have fun.  As long as being OP isn’t

your idea of a good time all the time, and you don’t mind a

fall or two on your bottom, then we’ll have fun.  Sure, being

OP is fun sometimes, but they are all around great characters.

An interesting time can be had if we use Salarian blue bomb

tubes (Scorpian or Venom) for Lore purposes.  Let’s do it!

I love the Salarian Engie. I usually max out energy drain and incinerate because the units I want the decoy to fool (phantoms, dragoons, praetorians, banshees) rarely if ever seem to fall for it and while getting a temporary breather from a scion or ravager is nice it usually doesn't amount to much for me as I've got something around the next corner just as likely to eat my face. 

 

I'm not too keen on the venom (too many duds even on host) but love the scorpion. Fire explosions all day and ethics rants are my favorites.

Weird-- I played a SE last night with a Suppressor against Cerberus on Ghost..funny thing was  the damn troopers were actually falling for the decoy....I haven't seen that happen in about a year ..going against Cerberus with a Decoy usually never, ever works....maybe Bioware read our thread about Decoy and decided to tweak something yesterday.... ( I doubt it )

I'm proud of you son for that weapon choice.

This would be my build.

I do not use decoy, since it doesn't

sync with my playstyle.

 

Also, Incendiary ammo for the cheese.

It's fun.

Energy Drain is a nice lifeline in certain situations.

I mostly play the weapon, not the character, however.

 

To break it down, it'd be 80% Venom, 20% SE.

But yes, some more playable characters from the

Salarian Master Race

would've been nice.

Yeah i myself mostly dont play the engi frog

I feel he s just good to feed my krosol and

The thing is, as long as the SE cleans out the enemy, like

soap, it will be good publicity for him anyway.  Maybe the

prints from Firebase White will show up, so you know my

@ss isn't lying about them!

Salarians are pretty cool gaise.
Intelligent and science/ tech oriented species much like the Master Race
I would like them even more if they had just asked
for our superior dodge, passives and energy drain instead of stealing them
It's almost sinful to think about how much force
from enemy attacks could have been avoided if my quarians still had their
40% DR and shield hax instead of those swift talking salientians
