So I have the regular N7 armor, Blood Dragon Armor, Terminus Assault Armor, and the Collector's Armor...

Which armor set do y'all think is best for Solders?

Terminius I would say but n7 with assorted items does the job just as well and you get to customize it.

I haven't tried the DLC armors yet, but for N7 pieces you'd probably want the health and ammo boosting ones. I think it's Aegis Vest, Off-Hand Ammo Pack, Life-Support Webbing, the +health pads. There is one that increases heavy weapon ammo but I think you need to switch it out for a +health piece, your choice.



Oh, and Death Mask. Because it looks badass as hell.

I like the visor. Because it improves headshot damage.

Question... do the armor upgrades work with the pre-order & collector armor?



I understand you can not visually modify these armors, but I thought the various upgrades worked. No?

The preorder and collector armor (and the blood dragon armor) will not allow upgrades. Maybe because they come with their own upgrades packed in

dlc armors aren't customizable. if u need health go for the collectors with the 20% bonus. but of all classes the soldier is least likely to need it, as it allready has almost twice the hp than the other classes... blood armor bonus (15% to power dmg) would be a waste (unless it also effect ammo powers?) so i'd pass on that for now. same on inferno.

I say start with collectors, than switch to N7 when you'll get some high grade upgrade, that suits your playstyle (weapon dmg is allways a sure bet...)
