Miranda is my favorite squadmate, but I don't see her being in the next game

Like the pictures I posted above. Women have been kicking butt and looking sexy at the same time for a long while now, WAY before Miranda entered the scene in 2010.
I know that.
I still would prefer that the Cerberus liaison officer, running around with my Shep, wouldn´t make it so obvious that she wears no underwear. She is the one insecure about her accomplishments because of her genetic modifications (appearance included) after all.

As much as I like Miranda, I don't see it happening.
It'd be neat if there were a little easter egg or something where you can view the names of everybody who contributed in some way to the Ark project, and Miranda's name is listed (if she's alive).

Miranda's entry on the ME Wikia says the following, so I am not sure if this pokes a hole in your theory:
If Shepard dies activating the Crucible, or is not in a romance with Miranda, she will be seen in a boardroom helping lead reconstruction efforts following the defeat of the Reapers. If Shepard chooses to control the Reapers, Miranda spends time with Oriana studying Reaper schematics.

It's still a cool idea though, but yea... not sure that the powers that be would want to connect anything with the old ME trilogy because of canon ending controversy.

I'm against inculding anything about the old characters, period. But if they would include someone, I would definitely want it to be Miranda. (Or maybe Samara or Kasumi.)

Miranda's a shark.
Whenever she smiles, I feel like a minnow. ![]()

That's assuming the Ark is a generational ship. It could be a sleeper ship for all we know, with stasis pods and the like.

That's where they hibernate in glossy, liquid goo, right? So one of the first things would be to help Miranda out of the glossy liquid substance. I'm sure this would be a popular story part.

I was thinking more along the lines of fridges but yeah, sure...why not? Besides it's not as if stasis technology doesn't exist in ME.

Now, now, the VA was actually quite good.

I liked Miranda a lot, second favourite female squadmate. But I'd rather her not come back

Well...your theory kind of contradicts the Extended Cut as it is clearly showing Miranda still being in the Milky Way in the epilogue, regardless of your final choices (assuming she is alive obviously).
Plus it would mean Bioware would have to retcone Miranda's death for those that had this outcome (you monsters). And by the gods Bioware has done enough retcone.
Though I would love for her to be part of the game as she is my favourite character from Mass Effect, it would mean favouritism compared to the other Squadmates and I don't think I'd like that. Plus it would kind of ruin the many headcanons where, post Mass Effect 3 ending, her and Shepard get together to live a new life.
Interesting theory though.

Making almost any character of the trilogy appear would open the old can of worms "they can be dead, and what do we do then?" It won't happen and that's all for the better. I just hope they extend that to Liara, whose appearance I'd actively resent.

Only if the first time we see her she says "Oh by the way, I didn't say this before for reasons that will never make sense but here's how I feel about the whole Cerberus thing..." and then she lays it down.
And then the real Henry Lawson bursts in, who isn't a sniveling little **** nobody but actually badass, imposing, with a certain charm, seemingly undefeatable and vicious (and preferably played by Bill Nighy). He explains that the chump who got thrown out a window was a patsy nobody clued in on again for reasons that don't make sense and we then spend the entirety of the game trying to defeat him.
Nah, but in all seriousness the previous games are done. I don't think any one character should return.

Yeah, it sounded like he REALLY wanted that cereal.
EDIT: too bad the quarians ate it, mistaking it for their soup.

As if Bioware is a stranger to contradiction! Lol.

Quarians don't eat human food all the time so it was a common alien to human food mistake. They thought it was canned cereal.
But on to the actually theory, I don't man. Seems like we are coming up with all these theories because we know Bioware doesn't wanna touch the endings and canonize one. Its sorta remains of IT popping up after the endings we got in ME3 and all sorts of other theories that were popping up to explain the ending, just here we are trying to make a theory to explain how the endings could be left untouched.
