Would anybody mind or be in favor of a protagonist with an accent?

Now, I'm not suggesting that both the male and female VA's have accents. I just think it'd be yet another unique differentiation in the experience to have one of them with a distinguishing accent.  (not that it's necessary in anyway whatsoever)

Whether it'd be a bad ass British chick we speak through, or a grizzled Tom Hardy clone, I would definitely be down to experience ME:A with either.

We had that in DAI . female Inquisitor one accent was british and the other american .

Accent is good..as long as they give you more choice in case it isnt to the taste of everyone .

I honestly dont care , the whole voice package + accent help you choose wich voice set you gonna pick .

I'd like it if they gave us an option to choose our voice like they did in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

We really need a protagonist that's different from Shepard since we'll be playing as human again. Perhaps an accent could help. I think it would be cool to be able to choose the accent like in DA:I.

I'd rather reverse it, and make the male voice refined with the female voice rougher.

Maybe they can make it so you can change the pitch of the voice too. I've seen games where that was possible.

I'm all for the Tom Hardy clone, personally. I approve of this idea.

Sure I'd be down for that would be nice if we got to pick again like in DAI, though I just stuck with the British voices mostly. A voice with an accent would be something I would like for the player character very much.

Yes I liked that voice a lot I could hear it without thinking of another character thankfully. It felt much better on my ears than the American Voice did for me. I'm not sure why but the american voice felt more flat to me than the british one. Might be because I used the british voice first and got used to it then was thrown off with the american one after hearing the britsh voice for so long.

So did I. I really like Traynor and I even like her voice, but for some reason, it just didn't work for me for the PC.  I don't even care what kind of "lore" is broken by having the American voice applied to the human Inquisitor; I can't imagine her voice being anyone else's now.

Anyhoo, I'd like to see a PC with an accent in Mass Effect, either British or whatever. We'll never get it though. I hope I'm wrong.

We already had a ME protag with an accent. Canadian. Lol.

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind an accent that wasn't North American.

That's a shame but I can understand how that would mess up someone's enjoyment of it. I hadn't played ME3 in a long time when I started DAI so that may have a bit to do with it for me since I know some voices I keep to a certain character no matter what. It was one of the reason's I hardly talked to Vega all I could think of was that live action Scooby Doo movie whenever he spoke  had the same problem with Bull at certain times as well.

So long as the actor could maintain that accent throughout, then yeah, sure.

The whole turian voice processing thing does hide the voice a bit.

It was? Hmm that's weird I loved Nyreen's voice and just felt kind of eh on the american Inquisitor voice.

Now I'm wondering if I'll just hear my Inquisitor's when I get to my ME3 run again instead of hearing Traynor.

Female Russian and a male Tony Montana ish Latin accents could be so much fun. Would be more fun to hear than typical US/Brit ones :)

And i agree to this.

I played DAI much more recently than ME3 so it's gonna be reversed in my head. My brain cares not for the facts of who came first

I guess my thing is that I played ME3 so many times that the voice is sort of ingrained in my mind. That voice will just always be Traynor to me.

The Hungarian Accent that Jorge from Halo: Reach has. It's awesome. I would love Hakeem Kae-Kazim to play the main character
