Would anybody mind or be in favor of a protagonist with an accent?

Would Claudia Black be too distinctive to play the Andromedagonist?

The Hungarian Accent that Jorge from Halo: Reach has. It's awesome. I would love Hakeem Kae-Kazim to play the main character

it would be nice to see some more unusual accents

Hungarian, Finnish, Mongolian, Cajun, and so on.

Probably, which is a damn shame because that would almost guarantee me playing a female protagonist first go-round.

A Creole protagonist. That'd be something.

I doubt we'd see anyone voiced by a prior character in ME

An aspect I enjoyed a lot from Inquisition.

Multiple voice options for the main protagonist please.

Would love to have a Russian accented protagonist

Yeah, but ... really, who'd give a damn? It's Morrigan and Aeryn.

I'm torn between wanting non-Anglo accents and my love of Aussie accents

I doubt we'll see Seth Green, Tricia Helfer, Keith David, Martin Sheen, or Lance Hendriksen.

Aside from that, I think just about everyone is fair game. There are a few voice actors I will be out and out surprised if they don't reappear as new characters; Simon Templeman and Steve Blum, for instance.

I could see Claudia Black getting cast; I think her previous ME character was minor enough that it wouldn't be a big deal, but I don't think she'd be cast as the lead.

But she should.

But she won't.

No, the more accents the better.

The Alliance, or whatever the equivalent faction is called in Andromeda, represents all of humanity. A more international vibe among the human crew would be welcome.

male Tony Montana ish Latin accents could be so much fun.

Sorry, I could never get behind this. Pacino had one of the worst Latino (i.e. Cuban) accents ever. All I can think of videogame-wise is Rico Rodriguez from Just Cause. I want ME:A to be as far from that as possible from a character perspective.

To be honest, I love Claudia Black's voice, but I'd much rather she be an interesting NPC than be the protagonist herself.

I'd like the protagonist to have a Bristolian/West Country accent. Something a bit differen there for a sci-fi game that'd be..

I don't think BSN posts are archived far enough back in order to fact check me (so you'll just have to take my word for it), but I've been saying for years that I would love to see Claudia Black come back as a squadmate in future games. I've always said that she really showcased her range with Admiral Xen and Matriarch Aethyta.

Even better for the main character.

I approve... if it comes with a pack of roman references.
