Only if it's Emily Blunt.
Man, I love her too....
But like any good song, she can get played out. You're helping the cause.

Eva Green.
I approve... if it comes with a pack of roman references.
So long as he either calls someone a "mad f*ck" or is called such by someone else, I'll be happy.
Then we get Dan Feuerriegel as an alien squadmate to say of Manu's character "f*cking humans..."
I wouldn't have problem with the main character having an accent.
What accent would be best? British is my favorite. I would even take a french accent.

I never noticed the faint text on the book until now.

I've seen that posted like 3 or 4 times now and never noticed that.
But seriously, Manu Bennett.
Doesn't have a lot of video game history but he did provide the voice and motion capture for Azog the Defiler in the Hobbit Trilogy - and say what you want about those movies, but Azog's portrayal was not among their problems. Point being this gives him a history of motion capture experience with the finest people in that industry, and had him carry a vocal performance entirely in a fictional language, which I think is rather impressive.

Not too appropriate. Should probably remove it.

If only I could add this to the Little Things You Just Discovered thread.
I'd like to see Bioware have another go at a Scottish accent partly to compensate for the mangling of the accent with the Ken Donnelly VA in the last trilogy.
There is a Scots-Canadian comedy actor/writer, Greg Hemphill who has a wide range of accents and he is also an exceptional comic talent.
This clip from the series he and his comedy partner wrote in their early career. It's a spoof on Star Trek in a regional Scottish accent with Greg in the captain's role. WARNING Contains language that some may find offensive, but I hope the humor compensates for any offense.
The Hungarian Accent that Jorge from Halo: Reach has. It's awesome. I would love Hakeem Kae-Kazim to play the main character
YEEEESSS.
Or Jun, actually.
My character in Saint Row 4 has french accent. I don't know if it's fake, but I still like it quite much. Makes her stand out in positive way.
I'd actually really like if games involved more protagonist with accent and not only english-speaking countries accents.
I'd definitely be in favour. In fact, and I'm not being a nationalist here, I'd like to hear less North American accents all around in this series. I get why there are so many, given where the games are made, but still. The Alliance is not space America, so I'd like it sounding and looking a lot less like space America.

She isn't French, but I wouldn't having her play a French character in ME:A. She did do a decent French accent.
Or Corinne Kempa. (who is French)

It was bit exaggarated so I thought so. Still I really like that touch ^^
space America
Reminded me of this. ![]()
Everyone has an accent. I can't even picture what a lack of accent sounds like. A robot like Legion, maybe?
I'd quite like a couple of different voice options, like DAI had though. My personal preference would be an American option for each gender (Troy Baker and Laura Bailey would be so good). Then an Australian female (Claudia Black)... and I have no idea for the other male accent. Maybe English? Or Scottish? Could push the boat out a little more and have Spanish, German, Japanese, who knows.

She was voiced by Sumalee Montano! I freakin' love her voice, even as fake French.
I think the voice actor of Kenneth Donnelly should do the main man.
I'd like to hear accents other than american, not just for the protagonist but for npcs in general, after all the Alliance is made up of all the people of earth not just one country.
Regardless of what they use I really want them to have multiple voice choices again. That made such a wonderful difference in DAI.
And count me in for Claudia Black as one of the voice options.

It's kind of a trope by now - the engineer is a Scotsman.

Shepard had an accent at one point.
Very thick Canadian on Meer... until he changed it. ![]()
I wouldn't mind a Brit though. I don't think it makes much difference, but whatever.
