I'm now imagining Space Gambit.
Heck I'd happily play a male first run if I got Space Gambit.

The put an accent in DA:I because of all the different playable races. I doubt they will do the same for Mass Effect since it's human master race only though it would be a pleasent surprise.
I'd rather them let us change the pitch with a slider
This is the accent I want, for those who can't imagine it. It would be perfect. ![]()
Everyone has an accent. If you think Americans don't have accents, then I'd say you're dreadfully ignorant of the country.
Not in favor, nor opposed. As long as it's not some annoying accent! I thought the Hawke accents were fine.

easy now....
It's called sarcasm. I know, a dying art indeed.

Hint- If the protagonist can speak, they will have an accent. Everybody on the planet has one.

you're right. Next time I'll go with the full length title, just for you.
"Would anybody hate it or be okay if the protagonist didn't sound like the same generic white American this time around"

Which is why we need the proagonist to sound like Wade from GTA V.
NO ONE WILL SUSPECT A THING.
Chyeck eeowt that thresha maah. Croykey she's a beyewty!
Your just plain evil aren't you?
Evil? Or glorious?
The answer's glorious, you heretic.

It's just I live in Australia and have to hear that fake accent all over the place. But yes it was funny.
. . .Well you're not wrong, but you're still a heretic.

LF Protagonist as humanoid potato.
I'd honestly prefer we play as a turian. Or Krogan. Or Asari.
I mean I enjoyed playing as Shepard -- just got the ME games recently and speed-ran through them -- but I wish/hope Andromeda isn't going to be human protagonist.
Space Gambit and Space Rogue will be the voices for the player characters of ME:A semi confirmed rumor
French accent... But not an actual one. Full on Monty Python French accent.

I'm confident that there will never be a Mass Effect game where we can only play as one of the aliens, at least not a full-sized standalone game, and frankly, I wouldn't want to.
Now, I'm not suggesting that both the male and female VA's have accents. I just think it'd be yet another unique differentiation in the experience to have one of them with a distinguishing accent. (not that it's necessary in anyway whatsoever)
Whether it'd be a bad ass British chick we speak through, or a grizzled Tom Hardy clone, I would definitely be down to experience ME:A with either.
Depends on what accent it is and how it sounds (I don't want to sound like a damned hillbilly -.- and some accents make you sound like some uneducated idiot who hasn't learned how to talk properly...hell, I think my own accent (in German - as I grew up in Bavaria and we have a rather strong accent) sounds hillbilly like (people don't like it when I say that as they see their accent as part of their identity, which frankly I don't, I don't even like our traditional clothes (those things people wear at Oktoberfest -.-) which I think are damned UGLY)...there's accents that make you sound like a damned intellectual - which would be ok ![]()
