I honestly think she's started to sound too old for the young beautiful female characters she usually portrays. In DA:I i feel like she made Morrigan sound too old.

Rommie's alright, but her actress' performance has always been kinda stiff.  Her part on Continuum indicates that this hasn't improved over the years. Kevin Sorbo as the male protagonist would be an interesting choice, though.

I'd prefer a more playful male protagonist. John de Lancie (Q from Star Trek, Discord from MLP), for example.

I know I would have to get used to her voice cause I always here her as companions/NPC's but it would be nice.

Kinda, but the fact that the robotic delivery continues to non-robotic roles isn't a good sign.

What say you, BioWare Forum? Approve or disapprove of the voice behind Morrigan and Admiral Xen as the persona for ME:A's protagonist?

Is her voice to distinctive/familiar, or do you object to her vocal styling as the main character? Prefer her as an NPC, maybe?

Hopefully we'll be able to play an older character ourselves.

The first character I try to make in every game is an anti-social yet erudite 51 year old man. Every game that fails to let me play that character is diminished in my eyes.

BioWare has let me play that character only 3 times (NWN, KotOR, DAI).

Don't see it happening. Sorbo's gone kind of crazy-conservative over the last few years. If nothing else Bioware might avoid it to avoid some bad press.

Her voice would be great for a 'renegade' character, imo she's great at being snarky. Wouldn't be very good for the 'paragon' though. Wouldn't mind her on the squad or an important NPC but not as the PC.

Personally I'm hoping for some new tallent and new people. To make this unique. Even if the Original trilogy had a lot of tallented VA's.

She's too special for a protagonist, I Think.

The protagonist should be fairly bland, every day and moldable into whatever type of character you prefer. Kind of like a news anchor... That most people can accept without pulling their hair off.

I love Claudia Black (everyone must watch Farscape), and I actually thought about her first. But she's so distinctive and she'll always be Aeryn Sun to me, so I don't know. Maybe she's better for an important NPC, or even a squadmate (I'd love that, preferably romanceable bisexual, so every character can experience it )

Love to hear her voice again. I wonder if she can be the female alien LI? Perhaps as a human female soldier/biotic  whose character is a no nonsene type as in Aeryn Sun from the Farscape series.

She'd make a better female soldier than Ashley (unless they make her also a racist bigot of course, or a Peacekeeper)

I have to admit, I'd like relative unknowns as our PC's VAs. Someone who's voice doesn't immediately make me think of another of their well known characters.

Claudia Black is one of my favorite voice actresses. But I feel like if they cast her as the protagonist, I'll only be able to think of Morrigan the entire time.

You know, I'm all for the "STRONG FEMALE PROTAGONIST TM" but one of the reasons I usually never wanted to try out femshep was because I hate when part of the STRONG FEMALE PROTAGONIST has to do with her voice having to be very edgy and not very feminine.

 

I don't think there's anything wrong with a more feminine and lighter voice for our female protagonists, just sayin', and nah. Claudia Black? She's one like Troy Baker where to me, she's overstayed her welcome and I don't get excited for her voice-acting being in any game anymore.

 

Liked her as Chloe in Uncharted 2 and as Morrigan in DA:O but I just don't really care for her anymore.

Yes, romanceable Admiral Xen should definitely be in this game, and bisexual so I can do it on every playthrough biower pls.

As a huge Claudia Black fan I say HELL YES!

 

On the other hand I believe she could voice a damn good Antagonist as well.
