Hate Morrigans grinding, sneering, "superior", know it all voice. However thats just one character I guess. I'd prefer another female voice actress(s) personally.

Claudia Black is one of my favorite voice actresses. But I feel like if they cast her as the protagonist, I'll only be able to think of Morrigan the entire time.
does Morrigan sound similar to Aethyta? Does Aethyta sound anything like Xen? I don't know of anyone who thinks they do. Hell, most of the people I know that find out it's the same voice actress can't even believe it. Some even go to imdb.com because I "must be mistaken".
The woman has range. She's got the chops. She's a professional and knows how to differentiate her voice in a realistic manner. It's nothing new. Some people just use the same voice no matter who they're playing, but the best ones have a knack for transformation. Look at Jennifer Hale. Some may not like FemShep's voice, but it sounds nothing like Bastila Shan. I have no doubt that Claudia Black could distinguish her voice enough to differentiate herself from the characters she's played in the past.
Protagonist, antagonist, love interest, or just a bad ass squadmate... either way she should definitely be in ME:A. Make it happen, Bioware.

To be fair I knew instantly that Xen was voiced by Claudia. I didn't know that Aethyta was though so that's interesting.
That said it would be interesting.

As a huge Claudia Black fan I say HELL YES!
On the other hand I believe she could voice a damn good Antagonist as well.
Ooooh, that's an interesting idea as well.
Frankly, I'm good with a number of scenarios, so long as she's a significant participant.

I could even see her been the voice of the pilot for either the ship or a shuttle if one will be used in the game.

Claudia Black is tremendously talented, but I think that she already has her big role in Bioware games. She's already very prominent. I would much rather that they give it to another equally talented voice actor. Maybe somebody who hasn't had his or her big break yet. The voice over industry is overcrowded as it is -- there's plenty to choose from.

Did you also hate the character? Based on your description, the voice was perfect for her.

While Aethyta was different, she voiced Morrigan and Xen the exact same. And I was very happy to hear her as Xen. I really wished they hadn't dropped her out of the Quarian/Geth arc.

I'd like to hear her voice a character in a leadership role, like a council-like body that governs whatever our group is in Andromeda, or someone like Delacourt in Elysium, perhaps as an antagonist.

As a female protagonist, no. As a squady, a 2nd in command villain, or someone random, sure.

Honestly, I'm more of a fan of up and coming actors to be the protagonists. I know this increases the chances of them being kinda bad, but it also means that we get some new blood for the MC. It's not a "Oh I recognize that voice."

Nah, i want Gray Delisle. Fell in love with her in Swtor Bounty Hunter campaign just as much as Jennifer Hale's femshep.
