No. Claudia Black is great, don't get me wrong, but her voice is too distinctive, and simply not 'normal' enough. She's very deep and dark, and always sounds like a very hard-nosed sort of person, someone with whom you do not *&%. Which is great, but not the kind of voice that befits a main character, who has to sound much more versatile. At times, the PC has to be able to sound not just like she/he cares(which Claudia Black can certainly do), but that she/he is a kind, caring person in general. Try as she might, I don't think Claudia Black could ever pull off a full-Paragon/Light-sided/good-guy voice. She's always going to sound like a renegade, or a renegade trying to hide the fact that she's a renegade. Or a renegade doing everything she can to overcome her natural tendencies to be renegade.

 

Personally, I'm hoping for total unknowns. I prefer not to have any previous association with my PC's voice. Which, in the case of Claudia Black, would be impossible.

Nope, I'd rather have Jennifer Hale(again). She was the reason I went femshep instead of broshep. Not that I am saying BioWare should go with or Hale as female pc or that Claudia Black is bad...

Personally i'm still longing for Lexa Doig to go into voiceover work but Claudia's not a bad shout. She's got experience, talent and range to be an excellent fit.

Claudia Black played quite a few roles and is quite versatile. I also  like her. With that out of the way....

 

Yes, bring CB back as a major character in ME:A. I don't care which one, as long as it's suitable to her. If she also plays a LI then I want the character to be a take-no-prisoner approach to the romance.
